リント基板の外部突出側に搭載し、且つ発光源と
なるレーザダイオードを該プリント基板の内部側
に搭載してなる光学ピツクアツプの該レーザダイ
オードの保護装置において、該プリント基板の端
部に嵌合し、そして該レーザダイオードの両極か
ら前記コネクタの一対のレーザダイオード用ピン
を経由して該端部まで引き出された一対の導電パ
ターンをシヨートすく第１のシヨートピンと、前
記フレキシブル基板の該コネクタへの装着後に該
一対のレーザダイオード用ピンに嵌合して両者の
間をシヨートする第２のシヨートピンとを設け、
該第１のシヨートピンは該第２のシヨートピン装
着後に除去されるものであることを特徴とするレ
