Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate clearing jammed paper by forming a paper guide member on movable side in such a manner as to displace at plural places in a paper guide device of a copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:A movable guide plate 120 comprises two guide plates, that is, the first guide plate 121 and the second guide plate 122. The guide plate 122 is mounted on the guide plate 121 in such a manner as to turn on a shaft 123. The movable guide plate 120 is pulled by a tension spring 104, a positioning projection 122b of the guide plate 122 collides with a guide plate 102, and the contact portion 122a of the guide plate 122 collides with the back of the guide plate 121, so that the positional relationship among the guide plate 121, the guide plate 122 and the guide plate 102 is determined. As shown in the drawing, a taper portion 124b is disposed on the left side of an opening portion 124a of a base plate 124, that is, in the opening direction of the movable guide plate 120.
