する際、成形ロールを鋼板の長手方向に対して直
交して設け、鋼板の長手方向の先端より順次横波
を成形する方法と、鋼板を長手方向に所要の長さ
に切断し、単位長さの鋼板をその長手方向と平行
して設けた成形ロールに通して横波を成形する方
法とが知られており、前者の方法は波のピツチが
細かい場合には有利であり、後者の方法ではピツ
チの粗い場合に有利で、雨戸のパネルや戸袋の鏡
板などは普通ピツチの粗いものが採用されるの
で、後者の単位長さに切断した鋼板を素材として
成形される。しかしこの方法で成形されたもの
に、第8図図示の如く、波に歪が生じて左右の縦
方向の長さに違いが生じる場合がある。その実情
を調べて見ると、鋼板はコイル状に巻いて提供さ
れるもので、そのコイルから巻き戻し切断して成
形すると、その1本のコイルの殆んど全てが同じ
ように歪が生じ、他のコイルではまた異なつた歪
が生じるものであつた。従つてコイル1本1本の
調質が異なることから波の成形によつて歪が異な
るものと考えられる。従来ではその歪量が許容内
であれば製品として使用されているが、雨戸の場
合には波板のパネルと框とを鋲で締結されるもの
で、その際に波のピツチが僅かづつ異なることか
ら、波の山部に施こされるものが生じ、締結強度

されるように形成してあると共に、上下の矯正ロ
ール14,15は横断面円形を成すものであり、
また、支持梁4の上方に更に保持梁16を支持梁
4と平行に間隙を保つて架設し、この保持梁16
に複数の油圧などによるシリンダー17を長手方
向に間隙を置いて固着し、各シリンダー17のピ

形ロール8,9の回転に応じて順次侵入されると
同時に素材20の長手方向の中央部分より波形が
成形され、成形機1の末端側では素材20の全面
に亘つて波が形成される。しかしこの時点では例
えば第8図図示の如く歪が生じているもので、そ
の歪の発生状況を知るために、成形ロール8,9
に連続する矯正ロール14,15の上下間を大き
くあけて波板21′を矯正しないまゝで取出し、
その歪の状態を観察し、次いで上下の矯正ロール
14,15の間隔を波板21′の厚みに応じて調
節すると共に、歪の状態に応じてシリンダー17
を作動して微調整を行う。そして、歪が第8図図
示のような場合には、図面上左半分だけに矯正ロ
ール8,9が作用するように、シリンダー17を
作動させ、また波板が全体的に縮んでいる場合に
は、波板の全体に作動することにより、途中で波
に歪が生じても上下の矯正ロール14,15によ
つて矯正され、第1図の左側に示す正常な波板2
