3 is an insulating film coated with resin on the inner peripheral surface of the slot 2, 4 is a stator coil wound inside the slot 2, and 5 is an insulating material such as fiber punched out into a plate shape as shown in FIG. With the slotted wedge,
As shown in FIG. 3, this slot wedge 5 is inserted by an automatic slot wedge insertion machine in the direction of arrow Since it is inserted into the entrance of the slot 2 by pressing, it has the following drawbacks.

If the insulating coating 3 coated with powder resin is thickly adhered to the inner circumferential surface of the stator wire, it becomes more difficult to insert the insulating coating 3, and in some cases, the insulating coating of the stator coil 4 may be destroyed. It was flawed.

This is the drawback of falling through the cracks.

Reference numerals 2, 3, and 4 indicate parts that are the same or equally effective as those of the conventional stator. 6 indicates a particularly ingenious slot wedge of the present invention.
This slot wedge 6 is made of an insulating material such as synthetic resin and has a round rod shape, and has tapered portions 6' of the same shape formed at both ends thereof.

After winding the coil 4, as shown in FIG. 6, the coil 4 wound inside the slot 2 is pressed in the direction of the arrow Y by a tapered portion 6' formed at one end of the slot wedge 6. By pressing the slot wedge 6 in the direction of arrow X with an automatic slot wedge insertion machine, the slot wedge 6 is inserted into the entrance of the slot 2. The contact resistance at this time is that the slot wedge 6 according to the present invention has a round bar shape. Since the tapered part 6' is formed at the end, it is much smaller in width than the conventional one, and therefore it is extremely easy to insert and insert, and the insulation of the stator coil 4 is not required as in the conventional case. Accidents that destroy the coating can be completely eliminated.

In the stator of a rotating electrical machine, a round rod-shaped slot wedge made of an insulating material with tapered portions of the same shape on both ends is inserted into the entrance of the slot, so the contact resistance during insertion is greatly reduced. In addition to being small, the serious drawback of the conventional method that the insulating film is destroyed can be completely eliminated. moreover,
Since the slot wedge according to the present invention has tapered parts of the same shape on both ends, it can be inserted into the slot of the stator in the same way from either tapered part of the slot wedge, so the insertion work can be done by an automatic machine. In this case, the automatic slot wedge insertion machine does not require any complicated device for specifying the insertion direction, and thus the manufacturing cost can be greatly reduced.
