Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency, by a method wherein a conveyor device for a powdery material is constituted such that a shield member, being bent at its centeral part, is secured to retainers in a manner to be located in a gap between the retainers aligned to a chain. CONSTITUTION:A shield member 11, formed in a rectangle in cross section and having a soft flexible part 15 bent at its centeral part, is locatd between retainers 10 of a conveyor body 9, formed with a chain 8 and the retainers 10, in a manner that a solid part 16 is engaged with embracing part s 14 of the retainer 10. This constitution enables a powdery material to be conveyed without leading between the retainers, also enables conveyance of cardboard boxes, and permits improvement of working efficiency.
