部2aの螢光面6に照射嘔れ、螢光面6から光が発せら
れる。この光はパネル3を透過した後、導光板4に入射
し、斜めの切断面4aで反射されて導光板4の内部を進
行する。さらに、この光は導光板4t−作った素材内の
不純物や素材の不均一性によって導光板4内の各部で乱
反射され、液晶5に入射する。

晶画像が得られる。

のだめの光源を設けることなく液晶画像を得ることがで
きる。さらに、CRTのラスタ画面の周辺部をマイクロ
コンピュータ回路のソフト処理で抑制することによって
 ■同一液晶画面の色彩全変化きせることかできる ■
液晶画面の部分的な色彩分布をつけることができる ■
液晶画像の濃淡コントロールをすることができる■色彩
および濃淡をコントロールして液晶画面に動きを持たせ
ることができる等の効果が得られる他、従来CRTの不
用部分であったラスタ画面の周辺部を有効利用すること
ができる。
