[Detailed Description of the Invention] This invention relates to segments for tunnel lining (hereinafter referred to as "segments"), mainly of small diameter, which are buried underground and used. The purpose of this invention is to perform continuous work easily and quickly during construction. Our goal is to provide something that can be done at a low price.

Conventionally, when connecting segments, it has been common to tighten unit segments in two directions, the circumferential direction and the tunnel direction, using bolts or the like. However, particularly in the case of small-diameter segments, it is not necessarily necessary to connect them in the above two directions, and sufficient strength can be maintained even if they are connected only in one direction, i.e., in the tunnel direction.

Conventionally, when connecting segments, a method is generally known in which joint fittings are directly fastened to each other with bolts at the connecting portion. However, with this method, it takes time and effort to tighten the bolts, or when tightening the bolts, excessive force is applied to the fittings, which may cause the fittings to twist or peel off. In addition, a device in which male and female fittings are fitted and wedged has been proposed, but there is room for improvement in terms of fixing to the segment and manufacturing.

この発明は前記事情に鑑み開発されたものである。This invention was developed in view of the above circumstances.

As described above, the present invention provides male and female guide fittings and female and male joint fittings on the end faces in the circumferential direction, and these guide fittings and coupling fittings are arranged parallel to the tunnel direction and lined up in a straight line, and are connected only in the tunnel direction. Especially in small-diameter segments, the connection is performed continuously in a straight line in the direction of the tunnel, so the connection can be made with uniform force.

There is no need to worry about twisting, etc., and therefore there is no need to connect in the circumferential direction, which saves a lot of effort. Furthermore, the guide fittings and the coupling fittings consist of a female fitting and a male fitting, and by simply inserting the male fitting into the female fitting, the guide fittings will first securely position the fitting, and later the wedge will allow for reliable connection work. The connection work is easy and quick, and the fittings can be formed by simple processing using inexpensive materials. These fittings can be welded and connected to each end of the segment reinforcing bars and can be immediately placed in the formwork. Since the segment can be completed by pouring concrete, it is possible to provide an extremely practical segment for small-diameter tunnel lining, which is inexpensive to manufacture.
