Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the chattering vibration of a work during its machining by providing a work supporting arm so that it can rotate reversibly and move reciprocatorily toward a base stand fixed to a machine tool, and bringing the center of gravity of the supporting arm in coincidence with its rotational center. CONSTITUTION:A fork-shaped supporting element 7 of a base stand 6 formed in a body with a machine tool is provided with fitting holes 8 opposite to each other. Sliders 9 are inserted in the fitting holes 8 so as to freely slide in horizontal direction, and provided with axial holes 10 in which the both ends of a shaft 11 are rotatably fitted. The supporting element 7 of the base stand 6 is equipped with an arm body 12 for a work 4 to which the shaft 11 is fixed passing through it. The work 4 is mounted on a V-shaped groove 14 formed on the bottom of the notch 13 of the arm body 12, and pressed down by a screw 3a through a pressing element 3. The arm body 12 can rotate round the shaft 11 and reciprocate through the fitting holes 8, thus a supporting arm 15 is composed of the arm body 12 and pressing element 3.

状態で固着したワーク4のアーム本体12が配設ちれる
。そして、ワーク4はアーム本体12の先端部に形成し
た切欠き部13[面のV@i14に載置され、ねじ3a
によって移動可能にアーム本体12に設けられた押え部
