If the cause is clear and improvement is expected with surgery, it is possible to treat urinary dysfunction. However, in cases where urinary dysfunction persists even after surgery, or in cases where surgery is not suitable, conventional drug treatment and symptomatic surgical operations such as transurethral bladder neck resection have been performed.

Since the device only applies pulses to the sacral region using the device, it can be constructed as a portable and simple device. By applying pulses to the sacral region using such a device, it is possible to induce urination by electrically stimulating the pelvic splanchnic nerve, which contracts the diuretic muscle of the bladder and relaxes the internal urethral sphincter. In addition, this electrical stimulation has a defecation effect on the urinary center in the sacral spinal cord, and has a treatment that continuously relieves dysuria. This electrical stimulation is particularly effective for the central neurogenic bladder.

As shown in Fig. 1, the device basically consists of an electrode 1 and a stimulation device 2.The electrode 1 is a stimulation surface electrode made of, for example, conductive rubber, and is attached to the surface of the sacral body in pairs. The stimulator 2 has a power source, oscillation means, voltage adjustment means, modulation means, etc., and generates a desired pulse voltage. The specific configuration example will be described later with reference to FIG. There is a hole called the posterior sacral foramen on the left and right sides of the back surface of the sacrum, and the pair of electrodes 1 are connected to the body surface of the sacrum, which corresponds to the second and third posterior sacral foramina. The electrode side is pasted, and the unrelated electrode side of the paired electrodes 1 is pasted on the other parts. Therefore, the electrodes 1 are
In the example shown in Figure 1, two pairs of electrodes are used to attach the electrodes to the holes on the left and right sides of the sacrum. The indifferent electrode side of 1 may be shared, and the band 3 fixes the electrode 1 using a stimulation electrode crimping device or the like so that the electrode 1 is stuck to a predetermined sacral body surface.
It holds the stimulation device 2. The electrode crimping device is for attaching the electrode 1 to a fixed position in the sacral region,
It can be easily worn by the patient or his/her attendant, thereby ensuring that safe stimulation can always be supplied to a certain area. Further, the switch 4 and volume 5 attached to the stimulator 2 are operated by the patient or his/her attendant to control start/stop and adjust the value (maximum value) of the pulse voltage.

An example is shown in FIG. The stimulation device 2 is activated when the switch 4 is turned on, but if a pulse voltage of a predetermined value (maximum value) is suddenly applied, it will give discomfort or shock to the human body. Therefore, in the stimulation device 2, the pulse voltage value is small at startup as shown in FIG. 2 Tal, and gradually increases over time until it reaches a predetermined value (maximum value).

As mentioned earlier, for example, the pulse width is 0.1 to 21) SeC%
The amplitude modulation circuit 12 provided at the next stage is sufficient as long as it generates a negative rectangular wave with a frequency of about 10 to 50 Hz.
In order to avoid discomfort due to sudden stimulation at the time of startup, that is, the start of stimulation, the voltage of the stimulation pulse is gradually increased from the start of stimulation, and reaches the maximum amplitude after a predetermined period of time, for example, 2 to 5 seconds. , the amplitude modulation waveform generation circuit 13 provides the envelope waveform of the amplitude modulation.

The maximum stimulation voltage is set using a variable resistor, and the voltage adjusting volume 5 operates the variable resistor. The step-up transformers 15 and 16 at the final stage serve to boost the voltage necessary for stimulation and cut off unnecessary DC voltage. The stimulation device 2 configured as described above is considered to be capable of supplying an appropriate pulse voltage for electrical stimulation to the sacral region, and has a voltage of 3 to 9V.
It can be driven by a dry cell battery or a rechargeable dry cell battery, and can be made lightweight, small, and portable.

It goes without saying that the words may be changed as appropriate. The so-called pulse supply means shown in FIG. 3 can also adopt various modified circuit configurations by using well-known transistor circuits and other pulse processing circuits. Therefore,
The urinary disorder treatment device of the present invention does not particularly limit the configuration of such a pulse supply means.

As a result, we were able to see that urination was promoted during stimulation and that dysuria was significantly improved even during spontaneous urination from the next day. This stimulation is 10 to 15 times a day.
It was found that it was sufficiently effective in about a minute, and the effect lasted for about two days.

By attaching the electrode to a certain part of the sacral skin by the patient or his/her attendant, it is possible not only to promote urination each time urinating, but also to expect easier urination due to its long-lasting effect. Furthermore, the urinary disorder treatment device of the present invention can be configured as a portable device that is lightweight, small, and easy to wear.
