DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a device constituting a known electrophotographic device, and a cleaner for cleaning a photosensitive drum, the cleaner for removing residual toner after transfer from the photosensitive drum. In order to especially prevent toner from scattering during operation, airtightness is improved. Conventionally, in electrophotographic devices, the surface of the photosensitive drum, which is a photosensitive member, is charged and
The steps of exposure, development, transfer, toner removal, and static elimination are repeated. In order to ensure long-term stability in the above process, optical and mechanical problems have been solved from a technical standpoint, but due to the use of developer, toner Due to the problem of the scattering of electrophotographic equipment, the maintenance period for electrophotographic equipment is currently being determined. That is, toner scattering mainly occurs from the developing device, and many inventions and ideas have been made and put into practical use to prevent this. Another aspect of toner scattering that cannot be overlooked is the scattering from the cleaner, which removes residual toner after transfer. Due to the structure of the process, the cleaner is close to static elimination, charging, and exposure equipment, so adhesion caused by toner scattering can cause problems with the functions of various parts, so maintenance periods must be shortened to prevent the above problems. You don't get it. For example, the maintenance period is about 5L 000 to 3αOOOO sheets depending on the number of copies or prints. The method of the present invention is that the conventional maintenance every 7,000 sheets is 5α when busy.
The effect of the present invention is great if it is performed every O0O. Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional side view showing the cleaner 1 in a resting state. The cleaner 1 has a spherical opening 6 facing the photosensitive drum 2, and is kept airtight by a case 8 having opposite side plates 7 attached. A groove 9 is attached to the lower part of the case 8 on the photosensitive drum 2 side, and the tip of the outer wall 10 is made of a strip-shaped elastic body.
One end of the wind shielding member 11, which is a Mylar film, for example, is adhered, and the edge portion of the other end is brought into uniform contact with the photosensitive layer 4 of the photosensitive drum 2 as shown in the figure. At a predetermined position inside the case 8, one longitudinal end of a blade 12 made of an elastic material is held between a support member 13 and a presser member 14 for removing residual toner on the photosensitive member Nj4. The support member 13 is attached to a shaft 15 via a screw 16 so as to be rotatable around the screw 16, and the shaft 15 engages with a solenoid (not shown) so that the edge of the blade 12 is brought into uniform contact with the surface of the photosensitive layer 40. and rotated to allow dehiscence. A screw conveyor 17 is provided in m9 and rotates in the direction of the arrow to convey the toner scraped by the blade 12 in a predetermined direction. Above the case 8 is a shaft 19 that can rotate in the direction of the arrow.
A packing 18 made of sponge is attached to maintain airtightness, and the shaft 19 is cut on one side to form a flat part, and one end of the support member 20 in the form of a strip is firmly attached. One end of a wind shielding member 21 made of a strip-shaped film made of an elastic material is adhered to the other end of the support member 20 . The edge of the other side of the wind shielding member 21 is arranged so as to be in uniform contact with the photosensitive drum 2 under the same pressure opposite to the rotational direction of the arrow as shown in the figure. Airtightness between both edges of the opening 60 and the photosensitive drum 2 can be maintained by attaching the flocking material 23 to the case 8 side. The triangular squeezing member 22 (used for removing toner adhering to the wind shielding member 21, which will be described after the process). As described above, the airtightness of the cleaner 1 and the photosensitive drum 2 is determined by Flocking material 2
3 and the wind shielding member 21. The operation of Cleaner 1 will be described for the first time. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional side view of the operation of the cleaner 1 and the photosensitive drum 2 during operation of the electrophotographic apparatus. Although not shown in the drawings, residual image toner 24 on the photosensitive drum 2 after the transfer of the toner image is caused by the wind shielding material 11 rubbing against the surface of the photosensitive layer 40 as the photosensitive drum 2 rotates aK in the direction of the arrow.
The toner 24 is scraped off by reaching the edge of the blade 12, which is already in pressure contact with the surface of the photosensitive layer 40, as shown in the figure, by the operation of the solenoid in the direction of the arrow. Gather at 9 and screw conveyor 1
7, it is discharged in a predetermined direction. The wind shielding member 21 rubs against the photosensitive layer 4 as shown in the figure to maintain airtightness, but the blade 1
Although there is a small amount of toner scraped off by step 2,
Toner passing through the edge of the blade 12 and floating also adheres or accumulates on the edge portion of the wind shielding member 21 that is in contact with the photosensitive layer 4, but when the reeds become moderate, it falls and rests on the blade 12. When the blade 12 separates from the photosensitive layer 4, it falls to the groove 9. If the toner that has adhered to the wind shielding member 21 accumulates and does not fall, it will adhere to the surface of the photosensitive layer 4 and a good potential can be applied during charging, which is a later step. However, the above-mentioned phenomenon occurs in normal printing with a blackening rate of about 5% in normal gluing IJ-ning.
It may occur at around oo sheets, and if there is no gt > 3
(There is no problem even if you print more than LO00 sheets.

Assuming that toner has accumulated on the above-mentioned wind shielding member 21, the accumulated toner 25 is removed, but the number of prints is counted, and every Z500 sheets are printed, a rotation (not shown) is performed. Rotation in the direction of the arrow is applied to the shaft 19 by a drive device (for example, a solenoid). This rotation is preferably performed immediately before stopping the electrophotographic apparatus after printing 3,500 sheets. Next, an example of removing the toner 25 accumulated on the wind shielding member 21 will be described. Third
As shown in the side sectional view of the figure, by imparting rotation to the shaft 19 and rotating the wind shielding member 21 in the direction of the arrow, the ironing part #
Since the wind shielding member 21 contacts and rubs against the wind shielding member 22, the toner adhering to the wind shielding member 21 at that time is scraped off. Wind shield member 2
1 passes through and misses the squeezing member 22, press the # button and stop fF. Then, as shown in FIG. As a result, it rubs against the squeezing member 22, and the toner on the opposite side is scraped off, and the wind shielding member 211 returns to its original state. As mentioned above, the airtightness between the printer IJ-ner 1 and the photosensitive drum 2 is opened once every 500 prints, but even if there is some toner scattering at that time, the airtightness is negligible. As mentioned above, in the photosensitive drum cleaner, a rubbing member is placed on the surface of the photosensitive drum after toner is removed in the next process to maintain airtightness. Therefore, it is possible to prevent toner from scattering from the cleaner at all times.
Do not damage the functions of the various devices installed in the electrophotographic device (,
In addition, since the toner adhering to the wind shielding member 21, which is the above-mentioned sliding member, is removed in a timely manner, it is possible to prevent the toner from scattering without interfering with the charging of the photosensitive layer 4.
