Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a catalytic combustion device in which a positive control over a combustion can be performed by a method wherein grooves having a larger diameter than widths of O-rings are provided in a main body nozzle provided with O-rings and in a control nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The width of groove 17a has such a length as that O-ring 14 may not abut against both end surfaces of the groove even if the main body nozzle 17 is slid in an opening 3, and a width of groove 18a also corresponds to such a length as that O-ring 15 may not abut against both end surfaces. With this arrangement, O-ring 14 shows a smaller area abutting against the main body nozzle 17 than that abutting against the opening 3, further shows in inside sliding operation between it and the main body nozzle 17 and so a force required for sliding the main body nozzle 17 becomes smaller than that required for performing an outside sliding operation. Similarly, O-ring 15 may also show in inside sliding movement between it and the control nozzle 18 and then the force required for performing a sliding movement of the control nozzle 18 becomes low. Therefore, it is possible to slide both control nozzle 18 and the main body nozzle 17 sufficiently even with a low force in which the control valve 9 is extended, resulting in that the positive control over gas flow rate can be attained between the shutter valve 7 and the main body nozzle 17.

液化燃料2の流れに空気を混合するインジエクタ−8と
、熱膨張率の高い制御パイプ9が設けられている。また
燃料タンク1の開口部3側には本体10が設けられ、こ
の本体1Qには制御パイプ9を内包するサーモベース1
1が固定されている。このサーモベース11は先端が前
記制御パイプ9と固定されるとともに側面に触媒バーナ
12が設けられている。一方本体ノズル5け第1のバネ
13によってタンク1がら触媒バーナ12側へ付勢され
、制御ノズル6は制御ノズル6の突部6aと本体ノズル
6の断部6aとの間に設けられた第2のバネ13aによ
って本体ノズル5から触媒12側へ付勢されている。さ
らに開口部3と本体ノズル6との間は第1の0リング1
4によりシールされ、かつこの本体ノズル6と制御ノズ
ルらとの間は第2のOリング15によりシールされてい
る。
