This type of washing machine is often used for commercial purposes. When washing, open each door provided on the inner and outer shells and store the laundry in the inner shell. Next, after closing each door, wash liquid, rinsing liquid, etc. are introduced into the outer shell as appropriate, and the laundry is stored in the inner shell. The washing operation is carried out by rotating only the inner barrel, which has a through hole, and then the laundry is taken out from the inner barrel. However, in conventional washing machines, the outer barrel cannot be rotated, or even if it can be rotated, it is limited to a rotation range of about 90 degrees by hand.
Currently, loading and unloading of laundry is done manually, which is extremely inefficient. Additionally, this meant that the size of the washing machine was limited by the height of a person, which hindered the development of a washing machine with greater washing capacity.
Moreover, in the cleaning industry there is a demand for labor saving from washing to finishing, but conventional washing machines are not suitable for this demand.

This invention was devised based on the above circumstances, and its purpose is to make it possible to easily take out laundry from the inner drum, greatly contributing to labor savings, and to have a structure with greater washing capacity. The aim is to provide a washing machine that can also be used for washing.

Next, an explanation will be given of the operation of the above-mentioned embodiment, which is performed in response to the operation of push buttons, dials, etc. on the operation panel 2b or the remote control box 25. First, the outer door 11 is opened and the braking state of the brake 18 is released. By operating the drum drive mechanism 13 in this state, the first transmission system 19 → the inner drum drive shaft 1
5→The inner barrel drive system of the second transmission system 20 rotates the inner barrel 4, and at the same time, the first transmission system 19→the inner barrel drive shaft 15→the clutch 17→the outer barrel drive shaft 16→the third transmission system 21. The outer shell 8 is rotated by the outer shell drive system. This operation is controlled so as to stop at a position where the outer shell opening 10 faces directly upward. In addition, the inner shell opening 6
If the outer shell opening 10 and the inner shell opening 10 do not match, the clutch 17 is operated to release the connection between the respective drive shafts 15 and 16, and only the inner shell 4 is rotated by the inner shell drive system. Thus, the respective openings 6 and 10 are aligned. As described above, the outer shell 8 is fixed by the braking action of the brake 18 in a state in which the openings 6 and 10 of the inner and outer shells 4 and 8 are aligned and facing directly upward.

In this state, the laundry is automatically thrown into the inner drum 4 from the laundry throwing device C. Thereafter, the inner door 7 is fully closed, the outer door 11 is completely closed, and then automatic washing is performed by a starting operation. This washing is done according to the steps programmed in the timer or guard, and at that time, the inner drum drive system
only is rotated. In addition, the inner shell 4 during washing
Water supply, hot water supply, drainage, steam supply, etc. are all performed through the space between the inner shell 4 and the outer shell 8.

After the washing is finished, the outer shell door 11 is first fully opened, then the openings 6 and 10 of the inner and outer shells 4 and 8 are aligned in the same way as in the case described above, and then the brake 18 is released and the openings 6 and 10 are aligned. , the drive shafts 15 and 16 are connected by energizing the clutch 17.
Then, since the drum drive mechanism 13 is operated,
The inner shell 4 and the outer shell 8 are simultaneously rotated at the same speed by the inner shell drive system and the outer shell drive system. In other words, the inner and outer shells 4 and 8 are rotated with their inner shell openings 6 and outer shell openings 10 aligned, and this rotation is stopped with each opening 6 and 10 facing straight down. controlled as follows. Therefore, the laundry in the inner drum 4 is naturally discharged from each opening 6, 10 due to its own weight, and in the case of this embodiment, each opening 6, 10 faces straight down, so that the laundry is discharged from the lower part. It is dropped onto unloading conveyor B. Note that the laundry that has fallen onto the carry-out conveyor B is transferred one after another by conveyors D, F, and H to a dehydrator E, a dryer G, and a finishing machine I, where it is continuously subjected to a series of treatments. .

Note that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment.
For example, in the above-mentioned embodiment, in order to make maintenance and inspection easier and to simplify the configuration, the drum drive mechanism was housed in one fuselage section as an integral combination of the inner and outer drum drive systems. The drum drive mechanism for driving the inner shell may be housed in one body part, and the drum drive mechanism for driving the outer shell may be housed in the other body part.

The drum drive mechanism of the above-mentioned embodiment includes an inner drum drive system and an outer drum drive system, but for example, a connecting mechanism that can fix the inner drum and the outer drum with their openings aligned can be provided. For example, the structure of the drive mechanism may be simplified by forming the drum drive mechanism using only the inner drum drive system.

Further, in the case where an inner shell drive system and an outer shell drive system are provided, if the outer shell opening is formed longer in the circumferential direction than the inner shell opening, there may be some speed difference between the respective drive systems.

In addition, the laundry may be loaded manually into the inner barrel, and the loading position may be set at any position in the upper half of the outer barrel. Furthermore, the laundry discharge position can be set to any position as long as it is in the lower half of the outer drum, and if the laundry is set to a discharge position that cannot be completely discharged, the laundry can be finally removed from the inner drum by scraping it out. In this case as well, it is of course possible to carry out the work easily without having to lift the laundry which has become heavy due to absorption of water.

As explained above, the present invention is a washing machine that is equipped with an inner shell and an outer shell disposed horizontally between the left and right body parts to perform laundry, in which the outer shell is rotatable and the outer shell can be rotated by a brake. This washing machine is characterized by a structure that allows the washing machine to be fixed at a required position, and allows the inner and outer shells to be rotated simultaneously and separately by a drum drive mechanism. Therefore, with the outer shell opening of the outer shell and the inner shell opening of the inner shell aligned, it is possible to easily receive the laundry thrown in at a position corresponding to the upper half of the outer shell. Since each opening is located at a position corresponding to the lower half of the drum, natural discharge using the weight of the laundry can be realized, making it extremely easy to take out heavy laundry from the inner drum. For this reason,
Depending on the take-out position, automatic take-out from the inner drum is also possible, making it suitable for use in labor-saving equipment that processes laundry continuously. Moreover, since the laundry is taken out with each opening of each cylinder facing downward, there is no difficulty in taking out the laundry even if the washing capacity is improved by increasing the size of each cylinder, and the drum is driven without human power. The mechanism allows each barrel to rotate easily. Therefore, it has excellent practical effects, such as being particularly useful not only for small washing machines but also for washing machines with larger washing capacities.
