数枚備えられており、該第2の発熱部材にもPT
C素子で出来た板状の発熱板で複数枚備えられて
おり、前記第1の発熱部材の発熱板と前記第2の
発熱部材の発熱板とはいずれも前記吸気通路を横
切つて一列に並べられ、且つ、一枚一枚の発熱板
は吸入空気の流れに対して平行に配置されており
、前記第1の発熱部材の発熱板の各々一枚と前記
第2の発熱部材の発熱板の各々一枚とはそれぞれ
吸入空気の流れの方向に対して相対向されて、且
つ、対向している発熱板どうしは極めて接近して
配置されており、前記吸気通路には前記第1の発
熱部材と前記第2の発熱部材とを流れの方向に対
して相対変位させる駆動装置が設けられており、
また、前記デイーゼルエンジンにはデイーゼルエ
ンジンの吸入空気量を代表する物理量を検出して
その情報を出力する吸入空気量センサーと、該吸
入空気量センサーの出力信号に基づいて前記駆動
装置に指令を与え前記駆動装置をして吸入空気量
が多くなると前記第1の発熱部材の発熱板と前記
第2の発熱部材の発熱板との重なり量を増大せし
める制御装置とが備えられていることを特徴とす
るデイーゼルエンジンの吸気加熱装置。
