A telescopic rod antenna is often used in small radio receivers, television receivers, radio equipment, etc. In order to catch a wide range of radio waves,
This type of rod antenna is normally configured to be able to rotate and rotate forward and backward and left and right by means of two joints provided at its base. On the other hand, this rod antenna is generally attached to the top or side of a cabinet such as a radio receiver, but it is not used in small radios that require portability, cassette tape recorders with radios, etc. Sometimes they are reduced in size to fit into a recess in the top or side of a cabinet such as a radio receiver. However, with such a configuration, the center of rotation of the rod antenna, that is, the joint portion is located within the above-mentioned recess, so the rotation range of the rod antenna is greatly restricted by the corners of the recess. .

Therefore, by using an antenna mounting device that can slide vertically with respect to the cabinet, when the antenna is in use, the joint part of the rod antenna can be protruded from the storage recess provided in the cabinet.
It has been proposed that the rod antenna can be compactly stored in the recess by widening the rotational range of the rod antenna and retracting the joint portion of the rod antenna into the recess when not in use. In such an antenna mounting device, the antenna is mounted on a slidable support member, and a steel ball disposed at the tip of the spring is mounted on the support member using a spring disposed in a recess provided in the chassis. The support member can be held in two positions by fitting into the recess provided in the support member. However, the antenna mounting device having the conventional structure as described above has a large number of parts, resulting in high costs, and the manufacturing process is complicated, resulting in frequent failures. Furthermore, when the antenna mounting device was disassembled for purposes such as replacing the antenna, troubles such as the above-mentioned springs and steel balls falling into pieces continued to occur.
