With the discharge lamp socket of the present invention, simply align the terminal pins of the discharge lamp with the guide grooves on the socket body and push the lamp downward into the socket, and the terminal pins of the lamp will move along the guide grooves, allowing the terminals to 90
Pressure is applied between the bent spring portion and the terminal pin receiving portion of the terminal pin, the spring portion is bent nearly 180 degrees, and the terminal pin is engaged with the terminal pin receiving portion. When this terminal pin is engaged with the terminal pin receiving part, smooth moderation is obtained because the terminal pin receiving part is formed in a concave arc shape, and when the terminal pin is engaged with the terminal pin receiving part, the elasticity of the spring part is obtained. The terminal pin receiving part is engaged with the terminal pin, and at this time, since the inner diameter of the terminal pin receiving part is formed to be smaller than the outer diameter of the terminal pin, the inner diameter of the terminal pin receiving part expands and the outer circumference of the terminal pin , and the terminal pin is engaged with the terminal pin receiving portion. In other words, when the terminal pin engages with the terminal pin receiving part, it comes into contact with both ends of the terminal pin receiving part, and a force is exerted in the return direction by the repulsive spring force of the spring part, and a force is applied to both ends that pushes them apart. acts, a force acts that causes the intermediate point of the terminal pin receiver to come into contact with the terminal pin, a force acts that causes the intermediate point of the terminal pin receiver to contact the terminal pin, and the terminal pin receiver engages the terminal pin. Therefore, by adjusting the spring constant of the spring part and the spring constant of the terminal pin receiving part and making the repulsive force at the middle part larger than the repulsive force at both ends, the terminal pin receiving part A repulsive force always acts on the three points toward the center of the terminal pin, and a stable contact state is maintained at at least the three points.
