Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain pressure contact force and to also reduce power consumption, by simple constitution such that a thermal head is contacted with a platen roller under pressure by the force from a rotary solenoid and the force from transfer paper. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 14 is directly connected to the rotary shaft 13' of a rotary solenoid 13. Because a thermal head support plate 11 is constituted so as to push up the other end of said support plate by a first cam 15 revolved by a solenoid 13, the pressure contact force of the thermal head 10 to the platen roller 12 becomes larger.
