Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce complicatedness on the assembly of an alternator by a method wherein a housing section for a capacitor for preventing noises is formed previously to one pat of a rectifying element, the capacitor is housed into the housing section, and fixed and sealed by an insulating material and the capacitor is molded integrally with the rectifying element. CONSTITUTION:A case 17 is projected to the outside and shaped so as to surround an output terminal 8 and three-phase input terminals 9, 10, 11, thus forming a housing section for a capacitor 13. The capacitor 13 is fitted to the housing section while being connected to the output terminal 8 and a minus electrode 14, and an insulating material such as epoxy resin 12 is injected into the case 17 and fixed. Accordingly, the capacitor 13 has structure in which it is molded integrally with a rectifying element.

However, in such a structure, the rectifying element 1 and the capacitor 7
Since these are separate parts, it becomes necessary to take the trouble to attach a capacitor when incorporating the rectifying element into the alternator. For this reason, extra steps and labor are required to attach the capacitor, and the attachment has the disadvantage of being complicated.

In the conventional structure shown in Figures 3 and 4, the capacitor was externally connected to the output terminal, but in this example, the capacitor is built-in, so the capacitor is not visible from the outside. . Therefore, in the plan view shown in FIG. 2, the terminals that protrude to the outside are the positive output terminal 8 and the three-phase input terminals 9, 10, and 11.

In this embodiment, the case 17 is connected to the output terminals 8 and 3.
It is provided so as to protrude to the outside so as to surround the phase input terminals 9, 10, and 11, and forms a housing portion for the capacitor 13. Then, the capacitor 13 is attached to this housing part by connecting it to the output terminal 8 and the negative electrode 14, and an insulating material such as epoxy tree 112 is injected into the inside of the case 17 and fixed.

In this way, the capacitor 13 has a structure integrally molded with the rectifying element. Note that in order to provide the positive side output terminal 8 protruding to the outside, it is necessary to electrically insulate the positive electrode 15 with an insulator 16 in order to maintain insulation from the negative side electrode.

Note that in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the capacitor 13
In forming the housing section, the case 17 was formed to include the three-phase input terminals 9, 10, and 11, but the housing section was formed only around the positive side output terminal 8. Also good. In any case, since the capacitor 13 is connected between the output terminals, it is desirable to form a housing portion for the capacitor 13 around the output terminal □.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention has a structure in which the capacitor is built into the rectifier and integrally molded, so the process of attaching the capacitor when assembling the alternator is unnecessary, reducing the complexity of the assembly and reducing labor. It has the advantage of being able to measure reductions.
