Generally, such heating furnaces are equipped with multiple burners within the combustion chamber, but under normal operating conditions, some burners are switched on as appropriate without burning all the burners. Fires are often extinguished. However, since the burner is equipped with an inlet for combustion air, air that does not contribute to combustion flows into the combustion chamber from the air inlet of the burner when it is extinguished, increasing the temperature of this air that does not contribute to combustion. This resulted in a very uneconomical situation.

However, when the damper is narrowed down, the amount of combustion air sucked into the burner during combustion decreases, resulting in deterioration of the combustion state and the generation of carbon sludge. In addition, in some cases, the joints in the firebricks that make up the combustion chamber are filled in order to reduce the amount of air that does not contribute to combustion that flows into the combustion chamber, but this does not reduce the amount of air that flows into the combustion chamber from the burner when it is extinguished. However, it did not effectively reduce the inflow of air that does not contribute to combustion.

By providing a means for blocking air inflow into the burner, the above object is achieved by preventing the inflow of excess air that does not contribute to combustion from the burner during extinguishing, and also improving the suction of air into the burner during combustion. It is something.

By inserting the cover member 11 into the furnace through a viewing window or manhole (not shown) and operating it, the cover member 11 can be attached to and removed from the burner installation port 2 as appropriate, that is, the opening into the furnace can be covered. ing. The lid member 11 and the operating rod 13 are made of a fireproof material, and the reference numeral 14 in FIG. 1 is a centaur.

No air flows into the furnace. On the other hand, the amount of air flowing into the primary and secondary air inlets 8 and 5 of the burner during combustion increases. This is because even if the throttle of the chimney damper remains the same, if the number of air inflow points is reduced, the amount of air flowing into each of the remaining inflow points will inevitably increase. Therefore, the combustion state of the burner during combustion is improved.

実現されることがわかる。 Excess air is now prevented from flowing in from the air inlets 8 and 5 of the burner during extinguishing. For example, in a heating furnace with a total of 40 burners, when 16 burners are extinguished and operated, the lid member 1
4.0% in the air flowing into the furnace when 1 is not used
This did not contribute to combustion and lowered the temperature inside the furnace, but when the lid member 11 was used, this was reduced to 1.5%. In addition, the amount of air sucked into each of the remaining 24 burners during combustion was increased, which resulted in very good combustion conditions, no carbon flour, and a reduction in fuel usage. That is, FIG. 3 shows the results of hourly measurements of the amount of fuel used per unit product when the lid member 11 is used and when it is not used. It can be seen that a reduction in fuel consumption of 0.92/Kl is achieved.
特に、蓋部材11は構造が簡単であり、既存の

Furthermore, when the lid member 11 is attached to the burner attachment port 2, the opening of the burner into the furnace is closed, so the air in the burner attachment port 2 no longer participates in combustion, and from this point as well Air inflow is blocked. Moreover, scale does not adhere to the burner opening that is closed by the lid member 11, and combustion efficiency does not deteriorate even if the burner opening is opened to the lid member 11 and combustion is performed again.

It may also be a shielding shell 21 that surrounds and seals 5. This cutoff shell 21 can be divided into two parts, and the two parts are integrated by a stopper 22 and attached to the outer circumferential side of the burner during extinguishing. Further, the air blocking means is slidably held on the burner support 4 and the burner gun support 7, and the secondary air inlet 5 and the secondary air inlet 5 and 1 as appropriate.
The second air inlet 8 may be made of a small plate-like blocking plate that can close and open the air inlet 8. In short, air can flow in from the extinguished burner regardless of whether it is from the inside of the furnace or the outside of the furnace. It is sufficient as long as it prevents.
