過熱保護装置を用いて触媒コンバータを使用した
場合と、従来の空冷フインを使用しない排気管の
みの場合における排気ガスの経時温度の変化を示
した図である。

を前記排気管を包囲させるように配置するととも
に、一端を排気管に固設し他端を上記空冷フイン
の支持部材と係合させる空冷フインの固定部材を
、排気管の温度が所定温度以下においては空冷フ
インを排気管から離遠させ、排気管の温度が上記
所定温度より高くなると上記空冷フインを排気管
に密着せしめるような、温度感応変形特性を有す
る感温部材としたことを特徴とする触媒コンバー
