[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a guard cable with a deformation-preventing material for the cable end fitting that prevents the guard cable end fitting from deforming due to snow loads in areas with heavy snowfall.

Conventionally, the terminal structure of a guard cable consists of a terminal support 1 supported by a reinforcing support 2, as shown in FIG.
A cable end fitting 4 is used to support the cable 3. Since the cable end fitting 4 is made of steel bar, when a snow load is applied in a region with heavy snowfall, the vertical stress causes it to initially bend downward, and then undergo deformation as shown exaggeratedly in FIG. arise. The reason for this is that the snow load is applied to the cable 3 and the cable length is extended, so the initial cable tension is significantly reduced, and as a result, the cable end fitting 4 becomes a cantilever-like mechanism supported by the terminal support 1, causing deformation. It is considered that As a countermeasure, in order to increase the strength of each member and prevent deformation, it is necessary to make the guard cable 3 a large diameter that suppresses elongation, and to increase the diameter of the cable end fitting 4. , these have many problems from the economic, construction, and functional aspects of the protective fence.

In the present invention, the shape and dimensions of each member remain the same as before, and instead, both ends of the arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving member are fixed to the ground near the cable end fitting 4. The purpose is to prevent the metal fittings 4 from deforming.

The configuration of the present invention will be explained based on the embodiment shown in FIG. Each member with the same reference numeral as in FIG. 1 is the same as in FIG. 1. Note that 1' is an intermediate support. Reference numeral 5 denotes an arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving member which is a feature of the present invention, and its both ends are fixed to the ground GL in the vicinity of the cable end fitting 4 and installed. This arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving material 5 has an appropriate thickness (for example, 60.5
φ×3.2), and the height is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 m when the height of the terminal support 1 is approximately 1 m. Reference numeral 6 designates a fixing plate for fixing the arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure-receiving member 5 to the ground GL, but this fixing method is not necessarily required, and it may be buried in the ground like the terminal support 1.

In addition, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving members 5 (two in the figure) are installed in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the guard cable 3. Further, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, an arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving member 5 is installed on one or both sides of the guard cable 3 substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the guard cable 3. In this case, it goes without saying that it is preferable for the effectiveness of the present invention that the distance between the guard cable 3 and the arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving member 5 be as close as possible. Furthermore, although steel pipe is used as the material for the arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving member 5 in the drawings, it is not necessarily limited to this.

Since the present invention has the above configuration,
The arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure-receiving material 5 shares and supports the snow load in areas with heavy snowfall, and only a very small load is applied to the cable end fitting 4, so that even if the cable 3 stretches due to the snow load, the cable end fitting 4 is cantilevered. Since it is prevented from becoming a beam mechanism, its deformation is also prevented.

In addition, if the fixing plate 6 is used to fix the arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving material 5 to the ground GL, it is possible to install this arch-shaped or gate-shaped pressure receiving material 5 only when snow is falling, and to remove it at other times.
