円筒の下部に給水口及び排水口を形成し、給水口
に外部水道系から供給された貯水タンク内の水を
冷却円筒に導く給水管を接続し、排水口に排水電
磁弁を介在せる排水管を接続し、冷却円筒への給
水能力より排水能力が小なるオーガ式製氷機にお
いて、前記冷却円筒への初期給水時に、少なくと
も前記冷却円筒の給水レベルが前記排水口より上
方に達するまで前記排水電磁弁を開弁せしめるタ
イマー装置を設けた事を特徴とするオーガ式製氷
