の方式によれば、洗浄ブラシが回転する際洗浄ブ
ラシに付着している石鹸液や泡が飛び散つて周囲
を汚すおそれがあつた。また、回転している洗浄
ブラシに食器を押しつけて洗うと、食器も洗浄ブ
ラシといつしよに回転してしまい、洗剤で手がす
べりやすいこともあつて食器をすべらすことが多
く、その結果食器を壊したりしていた。そしてま
たモータを駆動源として洗浄ブラシを回転させる
場合、減速機構が必要であり、普通1/15〜1/20に
減速しなければならない。このように減速比が高
いと2段歯車減速か、ウオーム歯車減速などの減
速機構を用いなければならず、この場合、構造が
複雑であるため、コスト高となつていた。

本発明は上記従来の問題点を解決するためにな
されたもので、以下、その一実施例を添付図面に
もとづいて説明する。図において、1は食器洗い
機の外槽兼内槽で、この内槽1の底部中央には水
平方向に振動する洗浄ブラシ2が配設されてい
る。そしてこの内槽1の上縁部にはツマミ3が設
けてあり、このツマミ3を操作することによつて
洗浄ブラシ2の運転・停止操作ができる。4は前
記操作部を表示する表示板である。また前記内槽
1の最下部にはゴム栓5を閉栓しており、内槽1
内に水を満たすことができる。6は前記内槽1の
上方開口部を覆う蓋である。また前記洗浄ブラシ
2は連結ボス9に挿嵌されており、かつこの連結
ボス9は水平方向に謡動自在に支持された支持部
材7の中央ブラシ保持部8に螺合されている。そ
してまた前記連結ボス9の外壁はスプライン形状
となして、洗浄ブラシ2の着脱が容易にできるよ
うに工夫されている。また前記中央ブラシ保持部
8と同心軸上にはメタル10を挿嵌した軸受部1
1を有し、かつその外周部12と下方に位置する
支持部材7の外周フランジ部13とは数本の連結
杆14でつながれている。またこの外周フランジ
部13は前記内槽1の底部裏面に突出している取
付ボス15にモータヒンジ16とともにねじ止め
固着されている。そしてこれら支持部材7の外周
フランジ部13、連結杆14、中央揺動部の軸受
部12、ブラシ保持部8はそれぞれ樹脂により一
体成形して組立工数の削減をはかつており、かつ
内槽1に固定された外周フランジ部13と中央揺
動部は、揺動自在に柔軟支持されている。またモ
ータ17の軸17aと前記支持部材7の中央揺動
部を連結して振動させているのが偏心軸18で、
この偏心軸18の先端19は前記軸受部12内に
挿嵌されたメタル10に回転自在に嵌入されてい
る。またこの偏心軸18の先端19の凹部19a
にはボール20が挿入されており、洗浄ブラシ2
に加わるスラスト荷重を支えている。そしてまた
偏心軸18はモータ17の軸17aに固定されて
いて、モータ17の回転により、偏心軸18の先
端19は偏心して回転する。すなわち前記支持部
材7の中央揺動部はモータ軸17aを中心とする
円振動をなすため、洗浄ブラシ2も同様の円振動
をする。この円振動により食器洗い機全体も振動
を生じるため、偏心軸18の一部にバランスをと
るためのおもり21を設けている。22は支持部
材7の中央ブラシ保持部8と内槽1との間に設け
たゴム等よりなる防水構造の緩衝体で、この緩衝
体22は内槽1内の水がモータ17等の機構部に
入り込むのを防止するとともに、振動伝達を防止
するものである。23は緩衝体22の上方を覆う
ように連結ボス9より一体に形成したカバー、2
4は前記内槽1の底部穴1aに連通する排水パイ
プ、25は前記洗浄ブラシの運転、停止を行なう

かつ水平方向に揺動自在に支持された支持部材
と、この支持部材の中央揺動部に回転自在に嵌合
する偏心軸と、この偏心軸を回転させるモータと
により構成しているため、従来のような減速機構
は不要となり、したがつて構造的にも簡略化さ
れ、かつコスト的にも安価なものを提供すること
ができる。
