【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案は真空管路用継手、あるいは高温高圧

板からなるメタルパツキング5をはめこみ、それ
を前記雄のいんろう部の端面に設けた断面が三角
形状の環状突起6にて押えこむように締結ボルト
7を介してフランジ3,4を締め合わせ連結する
ものである。そして締結ボルト7の締付けは、環
状突起6がそのエツジによつてメタルパツキング
5を押圧し、その押圧された表面近傍に塑性変形
をおこさせ、前記エツジがわずかにめりこむ程度
にされる。このようにされることによつてメタル
パツキング5がフランジ3の雌のいんろう部底面
に対しても環状突起6にそつた当り面に密着し、
真空管路1,2の接続部のシールが完全になされ
る。しかし、真空管路1,2の接続部がたとえば
作動時には高温雰囲気にさらされて加熱され、作
動停止時には常温に復し、膨脹と収縮を繰返えす
ような箇所に設けられている場合には高真空を前
記接続部に保持するために、必要に応じて締結ボ
ルト7の増し締めが行われる。そのためにフラン
ジ3,4の間に隙間Cが設けられているのである
が、もはや増し締めによつて高真空の保持がきか
なくなつた場合にはメタルパツキング5を新しい
ものと取換えねばならない。

間ばめのはめあいを形成する外径に仕上げた前記
メタルパツキングを装着するようにしてなる管路
用継手にかかるものである。

4の雄いんろう部の外周面とのはめあいは、すき
まばめになるよう、前記雄いんろう部の外径寸法
