Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the exposure of a coil surface within a bolt inserting hole by molding in the state that a pin for forming the bolt inserting hole is coated with a cylindrical member, and integrally burying the member in the resin. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 11 wound with a stator coil 12 is mounted in molds 17, 18, and molded in the state that a cylindrical member 15 is coated on the periphery of a pin 16 for forming a bolt inserting hole extending from the mold 18. The member 15 is integrally secured into the molding layer 13 at molding resin curing time. Thus, it can completely prevent the end of the coil 12 from exposing in the bolt inserting hole to effectively prevent the insulating performance from decreasing.

To explain the molds for molding the stator with the above configuration, 17 and 18 are molds that can be separated into upper and lower parts, and the lower mold 17 is used to house the stator core 11. The upper mold 18 is provided with an annular recess 20Ifi for forming the mold layer 13, and a spool 21 for injecting the insulating resin. A gate 22 is provided to open the inner peripheral portion of the recess 20. The drawing molds 17 and 18 are each provided with pins 23 that are inserted into the bolt insertion holes 14 of the stator core 11.

Next, a procedure for molding the stator of this example will be explained. First, the image forming molds 17 and 18 are opened and all the pins 23 are covered with the cylindrical members 16, respectively. Thereafter, the stator core 1 with the stator coil 12 attached thereto is housed in the recess 19 of the lower mold 17, and the mold is closed.

At this time, the pins 23 of the drawing molds 17 and 18 are respectively inserted into the bolt insertion holes 14 of the stator core 11, thereby positioning the stator core 11. After closing the mold, apply an insulating resin such as premix or phenol.

Both the cylindrical member 16 and the cylindrical member 16 are molded with insulating resin. After molding, when the molds 17 and 18 are opened and the stator core 11 is taken out, the stator coil 12 is covered with the mold layer 13 and the cylindrical member 16 is covered with the pin 23.
The stator is pulled out from the mold layer 13 and fixed to the inner surface of the bolt through hole 15 of the mold layer 13, thereby completing the stator.

In the case of this embodiment, since the cylindrical member 16 is provided on the inner surface of the bolt through hole 15, the coil end portion of the stator coil 12 is bent toward the pin 23 by the injection pressure of the insulating resin during molding. Even if the coil end portion is deformed, only the narrow coil end portion contacts the cylindrical member 16, and this coil end portion is not exposed inside the bolt through hole 15. Therefore, insulation defects caused by the coil end portion coming into contact with a through bolt (not shown) pushed through the bolt through hole 15 can be reliably prevented.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above and shown in the drawings. For example, the base end portion (upper end portion) of the pin 23 of the upper mold 18 may be formed into a slightly tapered shape. Various modifications are possible, such as a structure in which the cylindrical member 16 may be temporarily held at a portion.

[Effects of the Invention] As is clear from the above description, the present invention provides a cylindrical member molded with an insulating resin together with the stator coil on the inner surface of the bolt through hole of the mold layer.
The stator coil can be reliably prevented from being exposed in the bolt through hole, and the insulation of the stator coil can be improved.

Moreover, since such a sharp effect can be obtained simply by covering the pin of the mold with the cylindrical member, an excellent effect is obtained in that the manufacturing cost is hardly increased by -F.
