Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of execution of work, by a method wherein a plurality of paper drain units having specified widths are arranged into ground through a narrow space and a continuous or almost continuous vertical drain wall is created. CONSTITUTION:Wide paper drain units 1 having widths of approx. 30-100cm and thicknesses of approx. 3-4mm. are arranged into ground through a narrow space to create a continuous or almost continuous vertical drain wall. As the result, the efficiency of execution of work is improved by arranging a plurality of the wide drain units 1 at the same time. And the drain units are made strong because of the widths and can be arranged at a great depth.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] This invention relates to a paper drain construction method for promoting consolidation by draining water from soft ground.

Conventional drain materials used for ground improvement have a width of about 10α. By the way, as the target depth becomes deeper as in recent years, it has been pointed out that there is a delay in the consolidation of the ground at deeper depths. The reason for this may be that stress is not transmitted in the deep trench due to partial loading, but the cross section of the drain material is small and the accuracy of pouring is reduced, so even if the drain material is poured, the specified drainage effect cannot be achieved. It is surmised that this is related to the fact that this is not achieved.

In addition, since the paper drain method is originally carried out on soft ground, it uses a lightweight concrete casting machine, so a machine for multiple installations has not been developed.

Furthermore, when designing the pouring pitch etc. of the paper drain method, the BARR for the sand drain method was originally used.
Using the ON theory, convert a paper drain material with a plate-like cross section into a sand column with a circular cross section. For example, 10CIltX0.5
A paper drain of 0 is considered equivalent to a sand drain of 5 U in diameter. Furthermore, the effective diameter is recalculated depending on whether the paper drain material is arranged in a triangular or square arrangement.

By carrying out the construction as described above, it is considered that an effective wall-like drainage layer was created in the vertical direction according to the design. Therefore, it is possible to calculate the pouring pitch, etc. by performing ordinary consolidation calculations according to TERZAGHI's consolidation theory.

In addition, when the width is 60 degrees or less, there is no particular difference in operation and effect from conventional ones. Furthermore, if the width is 100α or more, it is difficult to cast the material, making it difficult and impractical to produce paper drain material.
