In the conventional switch described above, the movable contact shaft 9 is supported only by the fixed iron core 8, so that it is a cantilever. As a result, vibrations caused by high-speed rotation of the engine can cause the support portion to wear out, making the operation of the movable contact shaft 9 unstable, or causing the movable contact shaft 9 to rotate, causing the movable contact to strike the side wall of the switch cover 14 and cause the movable contact to strike the side wall of the switch cover 14. There were problems such as wear and tear on the parts. The switch cover 14 is usually made of a thermosetting insulating resin material, but as mentioned above, when the side walls are worn, wear particles adhere to the movable and fixed contacts, causing poor conduction.

This invention improves the method of supporting the movable contact shaft in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks. The differences between the invented device and the conventional device will be explained below. In FIG. 2, reference numeral 9a is a distal end portion formed by extending the movable contact shaft 9 and located within the switch cover 14. As shown in FIG. 14a is a recess formed in the switch cover 14 and housing the movable contact shaft tip 9a;
9 is a bearing metal that is press-fitted into the recess 14a,
The movable contact shaft tip portion 9a is supported.

As described above, in this invention, the movable contact shaft is supported at both ends by a bearing metal and a fixed iron core, and one end of the movable contact shaft is slidably supported by a bearing metal, so that vibrations caused by high-speed engine rotation are avoided. This not only makes it possible to stably support the shaft, but also makes the movement of the movable contact shaft extremely smooth, reducing wear and abrasion powder on the support part of the fixed core, the movable contact shaft, and the side wall of the switch cover. It has the effect of significantly preventing the occurrence.

It should be noted that space can be reduced by providing the switch cover recess for supporting the movable contact shaft in this invention in a separation wall that separates both the fixed contacts on the battery side and the motor side.
