Indicator lamp 7 provided on the outboard motor 1 as described above
Because it is used in a water environment, there are many opportunities for it to be submerged in water from waves, etc., and there are also many opportunities for it to be washed away by rainwater. For this reason, there is a high demand for waterproofing of the light bulbs and electrical connection equipment installed inside. In addition, the indicator lamp 7 is attached to the oil case 5, and since the oil case 5 is equipped with an internal combustion engine, the vibrations caused by the operation of the engine can damage the vehicle body or cushioning materials, such as the indicator lamps and other lamps of the vehicle. It acts directly on the indicator lamp 7 without any intervention. As a result, the built-in light bulb is directly affected by the vibrations, often causing accidents such as filament breakage, and the life and durability of the light bulb are extremely short.

Further, the indicator lamp 7 is often composed of a colored translucent cover and a holder for holding a light bulb, and the connection between the two is generally a screw type. For this reason, the work of connecting the two is troublesome and complicated, and when the cover is used under the above-mentioned vibration conditions, the cover may loosen and come off naturally, causing the cover to be lost.Furthermore, the loosening of the cover may cause water to leak out in the event of flooding, etc. There is also a risk that the electric bulb may get in and damage the electrical function, or that if the cover comes off, the internal light bulb may fly out due to the vibration and be damaged.

FIG. 1 shows the installation and holding state of the light bulb, in which a conductive base 50 which also serves as one pole of the light bulb 40 is fitted into the cylindrical space 13 of the inner cylinder 11 of the holder 10, and the base base of the light bulb 40 is inserted. 41 is inserted into the base 50, and the protrusions provided on the outer periphery are engaged with the grooves formed on the inner wall thereof. A push plate 52 which is pressed by a spring 51 is provided at the bottom of the bulb base 41, and a contact 53, which is the other pole, is provided at the center of the push plate 52, and a lead wire of a cord 54 introduced into the space through the insertion passage 16 is provided. is connected to the cap 50 and the contact 53, and the bulb is connected to a power source through the cap 41 and the contact 42 at the bottom. In this fitted state of the light bulb 40, the inner periphery of the insertion opening 12 in the space 13 surrounds and comes into close contact with the outer periphery of the base of the light bulb body made of glass or the like.

The holder 10 with the light bulb 40 assembled as described above is inserted into the opening 61 provided in the fuselage body 60 such as the oil case of an outboard motor from the outside with the bottom 14 at the head. The outer diameter of the groove portion 21 is set to be approximately equal to the outer diameter of the groove portion 21 . Therefore, although the rear part of the groove part 21 has a larger diameter than the inner diameter of the opening part 61, the outer cylinder part 1
Since 8 is a cylindrical body made of rubber or the like, it can be elastically bent and reduced in diameter, and insertion can be easily performed. Then, the inner diameter portion of the opening 61 and the groove portion 21 are engaged with each other by insertion, and the flange portion 22 of the outer cylinder portion 18 comes into contact with the periphery of the outer surface of the opening portion 61 .

Next, the cover 10 is firmly inserted into the gap S of the holder 10 with the base of the skirt portion 33. An engaging projection 36 is provided at the base of the skirt portion 33, and this is inserted between the projections 17 of the gap S and the inner circumference of the outer cylinder member 18, but the skirt portion 33 is thicker than the width between them, and Although the protrusion 36 is thicker, due to its small size and the fact that the inner and outer cylinder members are made of rubber, etc., the protrusion 36 bends elastically and is forcibly inserted into the protrusion 3.
6 crosses the gap S, and at the crossing position, the protrusion 36 reaches the slope 24 of the space communicating with the gap S, and the protrusion 3
The surface 36a of No. 6 engages with the inclined surface 24 and performs a wedge action. At the same time, the rear surface of the flange portion 35 of the skirt portion 33 is in close contact with the front surface of the flange portion 22 of the holder 10. Even if the cover 31 is installed roughly, such as by inserting the cover somewhat diagonally, the light bulb 40
Since the outer circumference of the base of the cover 31 is held by the circumference of the open end of the inner cylindrical part 11, there is no possibility that the skirt part 33 of the cover 31 or the end of this comes into contact with the light bulb, which could damage the light bulb if it comes into contact with it when the cover is attached. Prevent situations like this from occurring.

In the above, the skirt portion 33 of the cover 30 is reliably held by the inner wall of the outer cylinder portion 18 and the elastic action of the protrusion 17, and the protrusion 33 of the skirt portion 33
The wedge effect prevents it from coming off. Also skirt part 33

2, the inner wall of the outer cylinder part 18 and the skirt part 33
The close contact of the outer periphery acts like a rubber seal, providing high waterproofness. Furthermore, since the holder outer cylinder portion 18 in contact with the opening 61 is made of rubber with a high vibration-proofing effect, vibrations of the body 60 are first absorbed and attenuated in this portion. The vibrations propagated to the inner cylinder part 11 via the skirt part 33 of the cover 30 are attenuated by interference with the skirt part 33 by synthetic resin, etc., and are propagated to the inner cylinder part 11 via the protrusion 17. . Since this portion, including the protrusion 17, is also molded from rubber, it is effectively absorbed and attenuated, and the vibrations imparted to the light bulb 40 are made as small as possible. In addition, since the above-mentioned gap S is provided between the inner diameter of the opening 61 of the body 60 and the light bulb 40, the distance between the vibrating part and the light bulb 40 becomes large, and this together with the above-mentioned damping effect This reduces vibrations to the bulb. In addition, the inner cylindrical portion 11 that holds the light bulb contacts the skirt portion of the cover 30 that propagates vibrations only at the plurality of protrusions 17, and does not touch the other portions, thereby also preventing resonance of the light bulb.

Furthermore, as described above, since the inner periphery of the opening of the inner tube 11 is in contact with the outer periphery of the bulb base, in addition to the above, propagation of vibrations to glass or the like is suppressed, thereby preventing damage to bulbs made of glass or the like.

According to the present invention as described above, even when the aircraft is used under conditions with a lot of vibration, such as the display lamps of outboard motors, the vibrations of the aircraft are doubly absorbed and attenuated by the vibration isolating member, and during this time This space prevents the built-in bulb from resonating, and it is also possible to set a large distance between the vibrating body and the bulb, and the synergistic effect of the above effectively reduces vibrations to the bulb, resulting in an excellent anti-vibration effect. The present invention provides a light bulb holding device that prevents the light bulb from breaking due to vibration as much as possible, and improves the life and durability of the light bulb.

Further, because of the above structure, the holder and the cover are reliably connected due to the wedge effect and the action of the protrusions, and the effect of the protrusions provides excellent watertightness, making it possible to obtain a highly waterproof light bulb holding device.

Furthermore, during installation, it is only necessary to firmly fit the cover skirt part into the holder, which contributes to simplifying the installation work, and also allows removal of the cover and holder while maintaining high sealing performance and reliable retention as described above. In addition to being easy to carry out, it also exhibits various features such as not requiring any special anti-vibration means since the holding device has a vibration-isolating function, making it highly practical.
