Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a change in sound quality due to a change in a contact condition of a handset and an ear by forming a sound opening for connecting a front surface and a rear surface of a diaphragm of an ear piece unit at an outside periphery of the ear piece part of a housing. CONSTITUTION:At an outside periphery of an ear piece part 2 of a housing 1, a sound opening 5 for connecting acoustically a front surface and a rear surface of a disphragm 4 of a receifing unit 3 is formed. For instance plural sound openings 5 are disposed at the outer periphery of the ear piece 2 of the housing 1, and communicate an inside and an outside of the housing and acoustically connect the front surface of the diaphragm 4 of the receiving unit 3 with the rear surface thereof. Thereby, since a part of a sound wave from the sound opening is leaked through the inside of the housing 1 in case of contacting tightly to the ear, a raise of a sound pressure, in the section of the ear piece part 2 is reduced.
