Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a pin, a clip and the like from being fed together with paper, by installing a magnet in a paper feeding part. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 11 is attached to a filmlike or soft member 19 of a body 6. If so, a pin and a clip on paper 2 inside a cassette 1 are fed together with the paper 2 in time of paper feeding, but since there is the magnet 11, they are no longer fed furthermore. For your information, as for this magnet 11, a rubberlike somthing also may be available. And, if it is rubberlike and soft in particular, it may be directly attached to the body 6. Thus, the magnet is installed in a paper feeding part whereby abnormal conveyance due to these pins, clips, etc., is preventable from occurring before it happens.

Detailed Description of the Invention [Industrial Applicability] The present invention relates to an image forming apparatus, specifically, an image forming apparatus such as a copying machine or a printer, which uses a sheet material (cut form, roll form). The present invention relates to an image forming apparatus including a conveying device, particularly a paper feeding device section.

Conventionally, this type of device has been constructed as shown in FIG. 4 or FIG. 5, with the one shown in FIG. 4 being called a separation claw type (cassette type) and the one shown in FIG. 5 being called a friction separation type.

In the cassette method, paper 2 in cassette L is fed into paper feed roller 3.
In many cases, the paper is sent out by the paper, passes through the transport guide 4, hits the registration rollers 5, and is transported again by the registration rollers 5 at a certain timing.

The friction separation method is also the same, but as shown in FIG. 5, it consists of a paper feed tray 7, a paper feed roller 8, and a slip pad 9 instead of the cassette 1. In other words, paper 2 is from paper feed core a.
8 feeds the top paper, but the paper 2 below is braked by the slip pad 9, so the primary paper feed correc-

The problem here is when paper clips, staples, pins, etc. fall onto these sheets of paper 2, and they are transported together with the sheets of paper 2 and get stuck in the paper feed rollers 8 or between the transport guides 4. They often get stuck or get stuck in the registration rollers 5, preventing normal paper feeding.

Referring to FIG. 1, a magnet 11 is attached to a film-like or soft member 10 on the main body 6. In other words, the pins and clips on top of the paper 2 in the cassette 1 are fed in when the paper 2 is fed, but because the magnet 11 is present here, the pins and clips are not fed any further.

Figure 3 is a side view of the structure described in the example (Figure 2), and what I want to say here is the magnet rubber 1 in the largest paper.
This is an example where it is sufficient to provide 2. Further, if the width of the cassette differs depending on the size of the paper 2, it is sufficient to cut the magnet rubber 12 into several pieces, and the dotted lines in FIG. 3 are examples of such cuts.
