Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent mixing of splashed oil in an apparatus in which blow-by gas from a crank room is circulated into an intake system by a method wherein a blow-by gas outlet port is arranged outside of shaft supporting walls at both axial outer sides of a crank shaft in the crank chamber. CONSTITUTION:V-type engine with over-head-cams is made such that a blow-by gas outlet port 11 is arranged at the crank chamber 7 having an oil reservoir 4 at its lower part and the blow-by gas in the crank chamber 7 is circulated back into the intake system. In this case, the outlet port 11 is positioned outside of shaft supporting walls 13 at both axial outer sides of the crank shaft in the crank chamber 7. The outlet port 11 is made by the lower opening end of each of the clearances 15 between both outer side surfaces of the shaft supporting walls 13 and the cover member 14 to be attached to each of the supporting walls. The clearances 15 are communicated with the breezer chamber 16 formed at the lower surface of the bottom wall of V-bank of the cylinder block 2 through the through-pass hole 16a, the breezer chamber 16 is communicated with the intake system containing an intake manihold through a communication passage and a dynamic valve chamber or the like.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the conventional device described above, since the blow-by gas outlet d is provided in the skirt portion e, it is easily affected by pressure fluctuations due to the rotation of the crankshaft f. There is a problem in that oil droplets from the connecting rod q connected to the crankshaft f tend to be guided from the outlet d into the blow-by gas passage connected thereto.

Although the above is not particularly different from the conventional one, according to the present invention, each blow-by gas outlet is located outside the crankshaft (8) shaft support wall ae on the outside of the crankshaft direction white picture of the crank chamber (7). c11, and to explain this in detail with respect to the one shown in the figure, the number of exits (tD) is as shown in FIGS. The lower open end of 0909 is placed in each gap between the cover members (IlO('lΦ)), and a breather chamber ae is provided on the lower surface of the V-bank bottom wall of the cylinder block (2). the respective voids 09 are communicated with the chamber ae through the respective through holes (16a), and the chamber (

(Function) To explain the function of the present invention based on the above embodiment, the blow-by gas in the crank chamber (7) of the engine (1) is transferred from the blow-by gas outlet 010 to the breather chamber ae and each valve chamber. (3a) and is returned to the intake system, and this point is not particularly different from the conventional one, but in the conventional one, the outlet d is provided in the skirt part e of the cylinder above the crank chamber a. In contrast to the above-mentioned disadvantages, in the present invention, blow-by gas outlet ports (IT ) at is provided, and each shaft support wall 0) acts as a shielding plate, so that the influence of pressure fluctuations on the outlet l'l'D due to the rotation of the crank @(8) is small, and Oil droplets are less likely to be guided.

Also, when the engine (1) is mounted horizontally on the vehicle, the oil in the crank chamber (7) is biased toward the negative side in the crankshaft direction during cornering, causing one of the two outlets (+1) lTh to become saturated with oil. Even if the other side is closed, the other side is kept open and the blow-by gas can be taken out well.
(At least one of the lvs is placed in the front and back of the crankshaft (8) in a direction perpendicular to the crankshaft (8), sandwiching the bearing part of the shaft support wall ○). One of these outlet ports is held open not only to prevent the oil from shifting, but also to prevent the oil from shifting back and forth in the direction orthogonal to the crankshaft (8) of the engine (1). It is advantageous.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the present invention, the blow-by gas outlet is located outside the shaft support walls of the crankshaft on both sides of the crankshaft direction of the crank chamber, and Since each wall acts as a shielding plate, it is possible to prevent pressure fluctuations caused by the rotation of the crankshaft and oil droplets from spreading to the outlet, and even if the oil is shifted in the direction of the crankshaft, it can cause damage to both sides. One of the outlet ports is kept open, which has the effect of preventing blow-by gas reflux from occurring.
