いて、仕切板７によりドラム１内を，ｊ 軸方向に
連接する複数の研磨室１ａ， ｌｂ， ｌｃ・・・
に区画し、各仕切部外周壁にドラム１よりも長径の短軸
外側ドラム８を固設し、該外側ドラム８に包囲されたド
ラム１の上流側研磨室の周壁には鋼球の通過を許容する
多数の孔１０を貫設するとともに下流側研磨室にはドラ
ム１内ぺ通ずる鋼球速通口１１を形成し、さらに、ドラ
ム１と外側ドラム８の間に、前記連通口１１の周縁から
外側ドラム８の内壁に延びる鉤状の誘導掬板１２を設け
