熱交換器本体内に、海水が流れる冷却管を備えた
熱交換エレメントを略水平に収容し、この熱交換
エレメントの周面にエンジン冷却水流入口とエン
ジン冷却水流出口を設けるとともに、上記熱交換
器本体内を隔壁によつて上記エンジン冷却水流入
口に連なる流入室とエンジン冷却水流出口に連な
る流出室とに区画し、さらに流入室容積を流出室
容積より大とし、流入室とオーバーフロー機構と
を連通した舶用エンジンの冷却装置において、上
記熱交換器本体の上部に、圧力を大気中に逃がす
オーバーフロー装置を設け、該オーバーフロー装
置と上記流出室、流入室とを前記熱交換エレメン
ト上方で互に連通させたことを特徴とする舶用エ
