The present invention relates to a lip base coat that is applied to the lips before applying lipstick to improve the makeup effect of the lipstick, and its purpose is to impart an emollient effect to the lips, prevent lipstick from smudging, It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel lip base coat which makes it possible to prevent tar pigments in lipstick from staining the lips. Conventionally, lipsticks have generally been applied directly to the lips, which has the following drawbacks and has not been able to provide a sufficient makeup effect. In order to impart an emollient effect, it is made into an emulsifying stick or contains other specific ingredients that produce an emollient effect.
Obtaining a stable formulation requires considerable advanced technical consideration. It is extremely difficult to prevent smudging with the ingredients currently used in lipsticks, and this problem has not yet been solved. Lipsticks often contain tar pigments to produce highly saturated colors and create a makeup effect, but this stains the lips. Therefore, the inventor of the present invention conducted intensive research to improve the above disadvantages of applying lipstick directly to the lips, and as a result, discovered a lip base coat that satisfies the above objectives.
The invention has been completed. That is, the present invention is a lip base coat comprising a water-soluble polymer compound, a polyhydric alcohol, a wetting agent, and water. In the present invention, when an aqueous thin film is formed on the lips using only a water-soluble polymer compound, a polyhydric alcohol, and water, the lips generally have an affinity for oily substances, so the thin film will not be uniform and will not form on its own. In order to form a uniform thin film, it is essential to include a wetting agent. Further, water in the formulation of the lip base coat of the present invention is used to obtain a thin film having appropriate wettability between the water-soluble polymer compound and the polyhydric alcohol. Water-soluble polymer compounds used in the present invention include gum arabic, algae colloid, sodium polyacrylate, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, gum trigacanth, iris yumos, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxyethylulose, and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. ,
Examples include methylcellulose, among which methylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, which is particularly easily wetted by polyhydric alcohols and forms an appropriate thin film.
Hydroxypropylcellulose, algecolloid, gum arabic, gum trigacanth, and the like are preferred. Examples of polyhydric alcohols include sugars such as sucrose and glucose; glycerin, sorbitol, mannitol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, and the like. The main purpose of adding polyhydric alcohol is to prevent the above water-soluble polymer compound from forming a completely dry film on the lips. If a dry film is formed, lipstick cannot be applied evenly when applied over it. Furthermore, if the lipstick has a bitter taste, its usability will be significantly impaired, so sucrose, glycerin, sorbitol, etc. are preferable in terms of taste, moisturizing of water-soluble polymer compounds, and good emollient effect. . Wetting agents include water-soluble silicone, water-soluble lanolin, and surfactants with an HLB of 10.0 or higher, such as polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, and polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid, which have an affinity for lips. Examples include ester, polyoxyethylene glyceryl monofatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene sorbitol monofatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene castor oil derivative, and the like. In particular, water-soluble silicone and water-soluble lanolin can exhibit sufficient affinity with the lips when used in extremely small amounts. The amount of the water-soluble polymer compound varies depending on the type, but it is 0.1 to 15% by weight of the total amount of the product, especially
It is preferably 0.4 to 12.0% by weight, and the polyhydric alcohol is preferably 5 to 30% by weight, particularly preferably 10 to 20% by weight, based on the total amount of the product. In addition, wetting agents are 0.001 to 2.0% by weight of the total product, especially surfactants with HLB10.0 or higher are 0.1 to 1.0% by weight, and water-soluble silicone and water-soluble lanolin are 0.02 to 2.0% by weight.
0.1% by weight is preferred. The lip base coat of the present invention is produced by wetting a water-soluble polymer compound with a polyhydric alcohol or an aqueous solution thereof, then dissolving it in water to form an aqueous solution, and further adding a wetting agent to this solution.
Further, a solvent such as ethanol may be used to form a thin film of a water-soluble polymer compound and accelerate the evaporation of water, and other cosmetic base materials may be added as necessary. When the lip base coat of the present invention as described above is applied to the lips, it gives an emollient effect to the lips, and since a thin film is formed, dyes in the lipstick are less likely to stain than when applying the lipstick directly to the lips. Not only can this be prevented, but also bleeding can be prevented, and the makeup effect can be significantly improved. Although the mechanism by which the smearing is eliminated is not clear, it is presumed that the aqueous thin film containing the wetting agent and the lipstick exhibit a suitable interfacial tension, which prevents the lipstick from spreading. Next, an example will be given and explained. In addition, the blending amounts in the examples are shown in parts by weight. Example 1 Gum arabic 10.00 Algecolloid 0.10 Glycerin 15.00 Preservative 0.05 Ethanol 2.00 Water-soluble silicone 0.05 Water 72.80 Manufacturing method: A: Moisten. Add A and... to B: and make it homogeneous to obtain a product. Example 2 Methylcellulose 1.0 Sodium polyacrylate 0.15 Sorbitol (70% aqueous solution) 10.0 Preservative 0.05 Ethanol 10.0 Water-soluble lanolin 0.1 Water 78.70 Production method: Produced in the same manner as in Example 1. Example 3 Hydroxyethyl cellulose 3.5 Mannitol (25% aqueous solution) 12.0 Preservative 0.05 Ethanol 8.0 Polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate (20E.O.) 0.5 Water 75.95 Production method: Produced in the same manner as in Example 1.
