Claims

In a liquid crystal projector that displays an image using a dot matrix liquid crystal display panel and enlarges and projects the displayed image of the liquid crystal display panel onto a screen surface using a projection lens, a plurality of simple matrix liquid crystal display panels each having a simple matrix liquid crystal display panel and a projection lens are used.
