Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve visual confirming ability, by a method wherein a meter is located below a windshield, located to the front of a vehicle, in a manner that it looks up, and reflection of display of the meter by the windshield enables visual confirmation of display of the meter without wide movement of an eyeball. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle, such as motor bycycles having a windshield 2, a speedometer and other meters 4 are located below the windshield 2 in a manner that they look up. The windshield 2 is located on the axis of an optical axis connecting an eyeball E of a driver with the meter 4, and a semitransmission type mirror body 2a is positioned. The mirror body 2a is adapted to transmit light from the front of a vehicle but reflect light from the rear. This causes light emitted from the meter 4 to be reflected by the mirror body 2a and to be sent to the eyeball E of the driver. Light from a road surface and other, incoming through the front of the vehicle, is transmitted through the mirror body 2a and is also sent to the eyeball E of the driver as it is.
