【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案はミツドマウント型等の各種モアーにお
けるカツター駆動装置に関し、カツター軸が挿支
される軸受ケース下端面とカツター上面との間か
ら軸受ケース内部側に草、異物等が侵入するのを
部品点数を増加させることなく防止して、軸受ケ
ース下端部内のオイルシール等の耐久性を向上さ
せることを目的とする。

にオイルシールを介装している。ところで、従来
においては、軸受ケースとオイルシール両者の下
端面とカツター上面との間には大きな間〓があ
り、カツター軸の前記間〓と対応する部分には
草、異物等が巻付いて、オイルシールを損傷する
惧れがあるため、従来においては、カツター軸の
上記部分を内有状とする巻付防止部材を備えてい
た。しかし、これでは、部品点数が増加するた
め、好ましくなく、部品点数を増加させることな
く、上記問題を解決することが従来より要望され
ていた。

オイルシールを介装したモアーにおいて、軸受ケ
ース下端面をカツター上面に少〓を介して対向さ
せ、一方、カツター軸下端部をその上部側より大
径状とした大径部としてオイルシールの下方側に
位置させると共に、該大径部を軸受ケース下端部
内に少〓を介して嵌合させた点である。

されると共に、その下端部は、上部側より段階的
に径が大きくされた第1、第2大径部20,21
とから成る2段の段付状に形成されている。第1
大径部20はその上面側で下側軸受14を支持す
ると共に、第1大径部20外周面と軸受ケース1
2下端部内周面間にはオイルシール22が介装さ
れている。第2大径部21はその上面側でオイル
シール22を支持しているが、また、この第2大
径部21は軸受ケース12下端部内に少〓を介し
て嵌合されており、軸受ケース12の下端開口は
第2大径部21により閉塞状とされている。第2
大径部21下端面には、カツター7が摩擦板23
と皿バネ24により挟持された状態でボルト25
により取着されているが、摩擦板23は上方に突
出する突片部26が第2大径部21の挿入凹部2
7内に嵌入されることで廻り止めされており、カ
ツター7は摩擦板23に皿バネ24で圧接される
ことで、カツター軸6と一体回転する。また、第
2大径部21外周部側と軸受ケース12両者の下
端面は全周にわたつてカツター7上面に少〓を介
して対向状とされている。なお、カツター7中央
部上面には上方に突出する環状壁28が形成され
ており、この環状壁28が軸受ケース12下端に
少〓を介して外嵌されている。その他、29はベ
ルト、30はそのベルトカバーであり、31,3

には、直ちに警報器37が作動し、それ故、草詰
まりによるカツター7の回転低下に気付かず、刈
ムラを生じると云う惧れはない。その他、41は
検出板33の下限位置設定金具で、検出板33か
ら上方に突設されて、案内カバー32の長孔42
内を挿通されており、上端部にストツパ部43を
有する。44は検出板33の上限位置設定ボルト
で、案内カバー32に螺挿されている。

と共に、何ら特別な部材を別途備えるようにして
いないから、部品点数の増加もなく、しかも、そ
の構造は簡易で、ローコストで実施可能である。
