れて回転される現像剤搬送部材と、該搬送部材に
対置され、回転駆動されつつ現像剤受容部の現像
剤を現像剤搬送部材に供給する現像剤供給部材と
を具備し、現像剤供給部材の回転方向が、該部材
と現像剤搬送部材との対向領域にて、両者が連れ
回り方向に回転するように設定された現像装置に
おいて、 現像剤搬送部材に現像剤を供給する側の現像剤
供給部材近傍に、供給されない余剰現像剤を現像
剤受容部側へ強制的に戻す回転体を設けたことを
特徴とする前記現像装置。 (2) 現像剤搬送部材との現像剤供給部材の対向
領域、あるいはこれよりも現像剤搬送部材の回転
方向上流側にその先端が位置する現像剤遮蔽部材
を設け、該遮蔽部材の一部を現像剤搬送部材に接
