For example, as an automatic transaction device shown externally in Fig. 5,
The rear side of the device main body 51 of a general automatic teller machine 50 can be opened and closed with a door 52, and as shown in FIG. Along with the maintenance telephone 56, a paper sheet carrier 57 for supplying paper sheets such as banknotes is removably arranged. This conveyance body 57 is configured as a unit including, for example, a safe storing banknotes and a conveyance system for taking out banknotes from the safe and conveying them into the main body 51, and is referred to as a cash takeout and supply unit.

If an abnormality such as a paper jam occurs in the conveyance system within the conveyance body 57, the conveyance opening/closing section 58 provided in a part of the conveyance system path is used to deal with it. The opening/closing part 58 is provided on the upper surface side of the carrier 57, and an opening/closing member 59 rotatable about the - axis is disposed therein, and a handle 6 attached to one end thereof is disposed thereon.
The opening/closing part 58 is opened when the operator pulls up the opening/closing part 58 by hand. Paper sheets such as banknotes remaining inside can be removed from this opening/closing part 58 to the outside.

On the other hand, on the apparatus main body 10 side, a corresponding guide member 29 is provided at a fixed position in correspondence with the guide member 28 described above. As shown in FIG. 2, the corresponding guide members 29 are placed in positions where they engage with each other when the guide members 28, which stand up in the open position, move in the direction of the arrow when the carrier 6 is stored. The corresponding guide member 29 functions to forcibly return the guide member 28 in the direction of arrow B, that is, in the direction of closing, when engaged. For this purpose, the corresponding guide member 29
An engagement surface 29a is curved so as to produce a cam action that smoothly pushes the guide member 28 downward when engaged.
It is desirable to have the following. This corresponding guide member 29 is also formed of a metal member.

The opening/closing member 26 is releasably latched to the closed position by, for example, a detent mechanism (not shown) K using a goal and a spring. In addition, it is configured to be rotated to the open position by, for example, a tension spring (not shown). Alternatively, the structure may utilize the weight of the opening/closing member in place of the tension spring. Furthermore, it is also possible to provide a slightly stronger friction to the support shaft of the opening/closing member so that the opening/closing member can be stopped at an arbitrary position by the frictional force.
