Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement of frequency, by a method wherein a coil of an oscillation circuit is lossely coupled to a pickup coil for detection of signals from a measuring circuit to detect an induction signal of the oscillation circuit and the resulting detection signal is used for the measurement of frequency. CONSTITUTION:A signal detecting pickup coil LP of a measuring circuit 2 is provided near a coil L1 of an oscillation circuit 1. The coil LP is loosed coupled to the coil L1 of the circuit 1 to detect an induction signal from the circuit 1. The resulting detection signal is introduced into a frequency measuring device 4 through an amplifier 3 to measure the frequency. Thus, as the pickup coil LP is not connected direct to the oscillation coil L1, there is no lowered oscillation frequency and stopped oscillation thereby enabling accurate frequency measurement.

(1) Since it is not necessary to directly connect the pickup coil LP and bar antenna A of the measurement circuit 2 to the oscillation coil L1 of the oscillation circuit 1, the measurement signal can be detected even when the oscillation circuit 1 does not have a measurement terminal. Furthermore, even if the oscillation circuit 1 has a measurement terminal, connecting the pickup coil LP or bar antenna A thereto would have an adverse effect such as lowering the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit or stopping oscillation, such effects will not occur at all. Measurements can be made to ensure that there are no errors.
