  1. 水冷式内燃機関において、シリンダカバまたは
    該シリンダカバの上部に装着された排気弁箱に冷
    却水入口を設けるとともにシリンダライナの胴部
    外周に対応するジヤケツト壁部に冷却水出口を設
    け、冷却水をシリンダカバ側からシリンダライナ
    側へと流すように構成したことを特徴とする内燃
    機関の冷却装置。
