Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] (1) In a camera having at least a pair of lens barriers disposed at the front part of a lens barrel surrounding a photographic lens and displacing in opposite directions to open and close an opening in the front part of the lens barrel, each a support shaft that rotatably holds the lens barrier at a substantially central portion of the lens barrier; and a pair of lever means that displaces the support shaft in a direction perpendicular to the lens optical axis in response to opening/closing operations of the lens barrier. When the lens barrier is opened, at least two points on both sides of the outer peripheral edge of the lens barrier that sandwich the support shaft are in contact with the inner surface of the lens barrel, and when the lens barrier is closed, two points on the opposite side from the outer peripheral edge are in contact with the inner surface of the lens barrel. 1. A lens protection cover device for a camera, characterized in that opening edge portions are configured to engage with each other.
