2a and 2b are lamp sockets, 3 is the appliance body, 4
is a ballast, and 5 is a power supply. However, this fluorescent lamp requires crossover wires P and P' between the sockets 1b and 2b. For this reason, it is necessary to connect two wires per terminal of the socket, and when a press-contact terminal is used, the number of terminals increases, the space of the terminal portion becomes large, and the socket becomes large.

That is, this fluorescent lamp socket has a recess 7 formed on the outer surface of the bottom of the socket main body 6 which has a lamp pin connection port (not shown) on the front surface, and a pair of recesses 7 in the front wall 8 that are open to the front side and the recess 7 side. pressure contact terminals 9 and 10 are arranged side by side, and a protrusion 1 is provided in the center of the recess 7.
1 are provided protrudingly, and further support steps 12,
13, and lead-out grooves 14, 15 are formed on both sides of the pressure contact terminals 9, 10 of the front wall 8. 16 is a socket mounting groove.

That is, the first lead wire 17 is pressed into contact with the pressure contact terminal 9, its rear end is passed around the protrusion 11, and the first lead wire 17 is supported by the step 13 and the lead-out groove 15 to form a lead-out connecting wire P to the outside. Similarly, connect the second lead wire 18 to the pressure contact terminal 10.
The connecting wire is pressed into contact with the protrusion 11, supported by the step 12 and the holding groove 14, and pulled out to the outside.
Let it be P′. The ends of the connecting wires P and P' are pressed into pressure contact with the pressure contact terminals 9' and 10' of another socket X having the same structure.

The connecting wires P and P' can be positioned and pulled out from the insulation displacement terminals 9 and 10 by the protrusion 11 and the pull-out grooves 14 and 15, respectively. In addition, the insulation distance between the terminal parts can be ensured. In addition, when tension is applied to the electric wire, the protrusion 11 and the pull-out grooves 14, 15 can be configured so that the pressure contact terminals 9, 10 are not affected by friction or the like.
Safety can be ensured. Further, the protrusion 11 can be positioned close to the pressure contact terminals 9 and 10 from the side so that the test finger does not touch them.

A socket body having a lamp pin connection port on the front surface, a recess formed on the outer surface of the bottom of the socket body, and a pair of sockets arranged in parallel on the front wall of the bottom and opening toward the front side of the front wall and the recess side, respectively. a pressure contact terminal, a protrusion provided in the recess for guiding the distal end side of each lead wire connected to the pressure contact terminal in a folded shape in opposite directions on a side surface, and a projection on both sides of the pressure contact terminal of the front wall. Since the lead wires are provided with pull-out grooves for drawing out the distal ends of the lead wires formed respectively and guided by the protrusions, the following effects are achieved. That is, it is possible to connect crossover wires, reduce the number of terminals, and downsize the socket. Further, even if an external force is applied to the lead wire and the connecting wire, the protrusion can prevent the pressure contact terminal from being affected.
