Claims (1)
に嵌挿されたタイマピストンと、該タイマピスト
ンの一端面側において画成されポンプ回転数に応
じて増大する油圧が供給される高圧室と、前記タ
イマピストンを前記高圧室側へ付勢するリターン
スプリングと、を備えたスピードタイマ機構を有
する燃料噴射ポンプにおいて、 前記タイマピストンの外周壁と前記シリンダの
内周壁との間に、前記高圧室を低圧側へリリーフ
するためのリリーフ通路が形成され、 前記タイマピストンは、前記高圧室を前記リリ
ーフ通路を介して低圧側と連通、遮断するための
弁体として機能するように構成されて、該タイマ
ピストンが所定の移動領域にあるときにのみ、該
リリーフ通路を介して該高圧室が低圧側へ連通さ
