Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a nowax material for ski, exhibiting excellent antislip effect and effective to prevent the difficulty in advance caused by the adhesion of snow and the noise generated in skiing, by kneading a synthetic rubber, a high-impact polystyrene, silica, and fibrous floc in molten state, and applying the sheet of the kneaded material to the sliding surface of a ski. CONSTITUTION:Less than 84pts.(wt.) of a synthetic rubber is compounded with >=10pts. of high-impact polystyrene, >=5pts. of silica and >=1pt. of fibrous floc to obtain a base composition, and the base is kneaded in molten state, formed to a sheet, and applied to the sliding surface of a ski. The base composition may be incorporated with >=5pts. of natural rubber, and the silica may be replaced with carbon. The fibrous floc is nylon fiber and the diameter and length are selected according to the pressure applied to the snow by the ski. EFFECT:Excellent low-temperature characteristics, resistant to cracking, excellent oil-resistance and heat-resistance, and resistant to degradation with wax.

(Prior art) As the anti-slip material for conventional skis for uphill skiing, artificial wool-like material or animal fur such as seals has been used on the running surface of the ski. When it comes to wood, the friction caused by sliding will gradually cause hair loss.
This hair loss reduces the anti-slip effect, and there is also the drawback that wet snow adheres to the anti-slip material, impeding the effect of forward maneuverability. Second, scale-like irregularities were formed on the ski's running surface to prevent slipping, but this anti-slip method generated noise during skiing, had poor sliding performance during forward skiing, and was also difficult to manufacture. There was a drawback that it became complicated. Third, rubber or synthetic resin foam was placed on the sliding surface of skis to prevent slipping.
With this anti-slip method, the frictional resistance when moving forward is large, resulting in poor sliding performance. The material used also has poor low-temperature properties and is prone to cranking.Furthermore, it has poor oil resistance when using wax, and is prone to deterioration, which can occur when wax is used. It has disadvantages such as poor heat resistance against frictional heat and easy melting.

(Means for solving the problem) Therefore, in the present invention, 84 parts by weight or less of synthetic rubber as a base material, 10 parts by weight or more of high styrene, 5 parts by weight or more of silica, and 1 part by weight of synthetic rubber as a base material. The above-mentioned fibrous flock is blended, kneaded in the molten state of the base material, formed into a sheet, and configured as a no-wax material for pitching skis arranged on the running surface of the ski to solve the above-mentioned problems. I planned a solution.

(Function) In the no-wax material of the pitching ski of this invention,
Since the fibrous flock is fluffy on the surface, by adjusting the direction of the fibrous flock, it can be used as an anti-slip material for skis. In addition, when using fibrous flock, the slip prevention effect is high when long and thick ones are used, and the slip prevention effect is low when the short and thin ones are used. The resulting no-wax material can be disposed. Furthermore, since the fibrous flocs are mixed in the no-wax material, even if the no-wax material is worn out due to sliding, new fibrous flocs appear one after another and act as an anti-slip material. Since the no-wax material is porous, it has excellent wax permeability and can maintain its wax effect for a long time.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be described. First, let's talk about the manufacturing method of no-wax material: A base material is prepared by kneading 79 parts by weight or less of styrene-butadiene rubber and 5 parts by weight or more of natural rubber, and 10 parts by weight or more of high styrene is added to this base material. , 5 parts by weight or more of silica and 1 part by weight or more of nylon fiber are mixed, this material is heated and kneaded in a state where the base material is melted, and this kneaded material is heated at 0.5 to 1.5 degrees.
A no-wax material is formed by molding into a mm-thick sheet. The nylon fibers blended into this no-wax material have a length of 0.1 to 1 mm and a thickness of 0.01 to Q.1 mm, while the no-wax material is used in the range of length/thickness -10 to 15. It is selected according to the snow surface pressure to be applied.

In this state, as shown in Fig. 2, thick and long nylon fibers are arranged near the center of the kick zone on the sliding surface of the ski 1, and thin and short nylon fibers are arranged in the outer sliding zone. There is. For this reason, the anti-slip effect of the ski 1 is set so that, as shown in FIG. 3, the anti-slip effect is high near the central kick zone, and the anti-slip effect is low in the outer sliding zone.
