Heat exchanger cores 4 are attached via tube plates 3 to the skirt edges of a pair of tank bodies 1 and 2 spaced apart from each other, and partitions 5 are formed in parallel in the width direction at the longitudinally intermediate portions of each tank 1 and 2. Both tanks 1 and 2 and the core 4 are separated by the partition 5.
In a continuous type heat exchanger configured such that different heat exchanger media flow therein, a pair of tank bodies 1 and 2 and a partition 5 are integrally formed of a synthetic resin material, and both bodies 1 and 2 are integrally formed. A flange 6 is integrally provided on the outer periphery of the skirt edge of the tube plate 3 and the longitudinal center thereof so as to be aligned with the skirt edge including the flange 6 and the end edge of the partition 5. A groove 7 is continuously provided in the groove 7, and the tank body 1, 2 is attached to the groove 7 through a rubber packing 10 integrally provided with an annular portion 8 and a bridging portion 9 that align with the groove 7.
