Abstract

PURPOSE:To make both of light interceptability and power feeding capacity giveable to a sun roof, by fixing each solar cell, in a patternlike manner, to an inner surface of a glass plate of the sun roof. CONSTITUTION:Glass 3 of a sun roof is formed into a ply glass consisting of upper glass 4 and lower glass 5, while each sun cell 7 is fixed to the joined part as being sandwiched in patternlike such as a grille or a stripe, etc. With this constitution, utilizing the sunlight, not only electric power is securable but also light interception is attainable.

[Prior art] In automobile sunroofs, which have an opening in the roof of a car and cover it with glass, smoked glass is used or a ceramic color is applied to the glass surface to provide light-blocking properties (semi-transparent). It is already common practice to print in a grid pattern.

On the other hand, it is already known that solar cells are fixed on the glass surface of an automobile sunroof and used as a means of power supply. (For example, see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 59-32521.) However, installing solar cells on the glass surface to use it as a power supply source and providing the glass with light-shielding properties are not related to each other, and are completely separate tasks. Was that.

[Object of the Invention] In view of the above-mentioned separate features, the present invention provides an automobile sunroof that is equipped with a power supply means and a light shielding property.

[Structure of the Invention] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention, when forming a sunroof for an automobile, solar cells are arranged in a pattern such as a lattice or stripes on the surface of the glass that covers the opening provided in the roof. It is established in the form of

cover to form a sunroof. The glass 3 has a laminated glass structure consisting of an upper glass 4 and a lower glass 5.
A solar cell 7 developed and molded in a pattern such as a lattice or stripe is sandwiched and fixed in the mating portion. Furthermore, the glass 3 is provided with holder hinges 8 at key points, and a seal member 9 is attached to the peripheral edge to connect it to the opening 2.

Since this solar cell 7 is provided over the entire surface of the glass 3, it can obtain a relatively large output, and serves as a power source for various power sources of an automobile, such as an automatic ventilation system, a battery discharge prevention device, and a seat heater.

[Effects of the Invention] As a conventional example, it has been explained that the glass surface is printed in a lattice pattern with ceramic color in order to provide light-shielding properties, but the solar cell of this invention is different from that using ceramic color. You can think of it as a replacement.

In general, solar cells are mainly made of silicon-based semiconductors, and therefore have light-shielding properties comparable to those of ceramic collars. In particular, since the solar cell of the present invention is formed into a pattern such as a grid or stripe, it becomes semi-transparent like a normal sunroof, allowing the outside of the vehicle to be seen. Moreover, the solar cells themselves are a source of electricity.

In other words, the solar cell of the present invention has both light shielding properties and power supply functions, and has extremely great practical effects.
