ンジン回転数を検出するエンジン回転数検出手段
と、ウエストゲート又は吸気リリーフゲートの開
閉を調整するゲート開閉手段とを備えると共に、
エンジン回転数に対応する基準設定過給圧に関す
る基本マツプ及びエンジン回転上昇率に対応する
補正係数を示す補正マツプを記憶部に有すると共
に、前記エンジン回転数検出手段から入力される
エンジン回転数及びこれを時間処理して得られる
エンジン回転上昇率に基き、前記基本マツプ及び
前記補正マツプより目標設定過給圧を計算し、吸
気系の過給圧を前記目標設定過給圧に一致するよ
うに前記ゲート開閉手段を制御する制御手段を備
え、且つ前記補正マツプの補正係数はエンジン回
転上昇率が所定値以上のとき目標設定過給圧を基
準設定過給圧より引下げるものであることを特徴
