Conventional anti-icing agents or snow-melting agents that are sprayed on roads, etc. have been made by dissolving sodium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, etc. in water or using them in powder form. However, because these compounds contain a lot of salt, they are highly corrosive to metals, and when sprayed on roads, they corrode the metal parts of structures such as automobiles, aircraft, and sewers, causing rust and destruction. Not only was it harmful to crops and seafood, but it was also a contributing factor to environmental pollution.

The glycol used is a viscous glycol such as ethylene glycol or propylene glycol, which has a high viscosity and is difficult to freeze, so even when dissolved in water, the freezing point of the aqueous solution is lowered and acts as an antifreeze. Further, urea has endothermic properties, and when dissolved in water, it has the property of absorbing heat from the solvent. For this reason, the aqueous solution containing urea releases heat into the environment, raising the environmental temperature and melting snow.
It has an ice-melting effect. Sodium formate is a salt consisting of a strong acid and a strong base, and completely ionizes in an aqueous solution, significantly lowering the freezing point of the aqueous solution. In addition, this sodium formate is easily separated and does not remain for a long period of time unlike sodium chloride, so it causes less harm to the environment. As the alcohol, liquid alcohol such as methanol, ethanol or propatool is selected,
It acts as a dispersion medium that disperses the above-mentioned compounds well.

The blending ratio of these compounds is 35 to 55 parts of glycol,
The amounts are 1 to 10 parts of urea, 25 to 45 parts of sodium formate, and 5 to 25 parts of alcohol, and can be adjusted as appropriate within these ranges depending on the purpose and conditions of use. Table i1 below shows an example of such a blending ratio.

(The following is a blank space) Table 1 The mixture prepared as shown above is then dissolved in water and sprayed on roads etc. in the form of a 25-35% aqueous solution. This concentration is also adjusted in the same way as the blending ratio of the mixture, and a highly concentrated aqueous solution is used to increase the ice and snow melting rate.

Example 1 A mixture obtained at the blending ratio shown in Table 1 was dissolved in water to give a concentration of 3.
This snow melting agent mixed with 0% snow melting agent per 1n1″,
It was sprinkled on the snow on the road at a rate of 0.5j and the time course was observed. In this case, the outside temperature was +1° θ°C to -10.8°C, and the humidity was 40 to 92%.
After 0.5 hours after the first application, the snow becomes sherbet-like, containing a large amount of water.
The paved surface of the road appears in 0.5 to 1 hour, and after 2 hours,
Most of the snow has melted.

After 2 hours, it penetrated to 2 an of ice, and after 5 hours, it penetrated to 4 m,
It penetrated to a depth of 8 cm after 10 hours, and to a depth of 12 to 16 cm after 15 hours, reaching the paved surface of the road. Afterwards, de-icing work was carried out, but this work was completed in the usual time required.

According to the present invention as described above, since there is little corrosiveness to metals, there is little harm to structures such as automobiles and paved roads. Furthermore, it is less toxic to plants and seafood, and does not pollute the environment. Furthermore, the speed of snow and ice melting is high,
This has the effect of melting snow and ice early.
