、上記コピー紙搬送経路の上記加圧ロールがわに
配設された上記第1の搬送ロールに圧接するすく
なくとも周面が硬質素材からなる第2の搬送ロー
ルと、上記第1の搬送ロールの支軸と上記第2の
搬送ロールの支軸との軸間距離を変えて上記第1
の搬送ロールと第2の搬送ロールとのロール圧を
片面コピーモード時に適合する第1のロール圧と
両面コピーモード時に適合する第2のロール圧と
に変えるためのロール圧調整手段と、このロール
圧調整手段によつて変えられる第1のロール圧お
よび第2のロール圧のうちのいずれか一方のロー
ル圧を上記コピーモードに応じて選択するための
ロール圧選択手段と、このロール圧選択手段によ
り選択されたロール圧を得るために上記ロール圧
調整手段を駆動するための駆動手段とを具備する
