４図及び第５図は残油量検出装置の液面センサ部を示す
拡大断面図、第６図は第２図の石油ストーブの運転制御
のシステム図、第７図は残油量検知装置の出力信号値を
示すグラフ図である。
図中、２は燃焼器具本体としての石油ストーブ本体、３
は別置き油タンク、４は給油管、１８は光ファイバ、１
９は光ファイバの一端、２０は光源としての発光ダイオ
ード、２２は光ファイバの折返し部、２３は光ファイバ
の他端、２４は受光体としてのフォトトランジスタであ

れて挿通され上記別置き油タンク内に臨んで折り返し部
が形成された光ファイバと、該光ファ・イパの一端に設
けられた光源と、上記光ファイバの他端に設けられ、燃
料油・空気等の周囲の媒質によって変化する光ファイバ
の折り返し部での反射光量に応じて減衰されて伝えられ
る上記光源からの光量を感知して別置き油タンク内の残
油量を検知する受光体とを備えたことを特徴とする燃焼
